🌴 Island Adventures in Barbados with Marriott International

Last week, our very own Amy had the chance to travel to Barbados 🇧🇧 with Marriott International

The itinerary included a tour of the newly rebranded Waves Resort & Spa, as well as a sneak peek at the exciting progress being made at Treasure Beach Resort and The House.

Extending our heartfelt condolences to the family and colleagues of our dear Lorine Charles-St. Jules, we are forever grateful for her remarkable contributions to Caribbean tourism 🙏🏽

The Caribbean Tourism Organization is deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Lorine Charles-St. Jules, MSC, CIS, and former Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA). Lorine was our dear colleague and indefatigable champion of Caribbean tourism, and it was our distinct honor to shine a spotlight on her earlier this year during Women’s History Month. We are forever indebted to her for the insight and intelligence she so freely shared with us over many decades. May she rest in eternal peace. 🙏🏾

Our Final Caribbean Roadshows for 2024 🌴

Two incredible nights, in two energetic cities—Liverpool and Birmingham were buzzing as enthusiastic agents joined us to discover the latest Caribbean updates. Each night wrapped up on a high, from a spirited mojito-making race in Liverpool to a lively cricket session at Sixes Social Cricket Birmingham.

CTO Chapter at RumFest 2024: Celebrating the Spirit(s) of the Caribbean 🥃

The Caribbean stand was a highlight for over 3,000 visitors at RumFest 2024, thanks to Discover St. Vincent and The Grenadines showcasing their exceptional rum collection. Among the favourites was their award-winning 84.5% overproof rum—the strongest at the event—which completely sold out on the first day!

Each tasting sparked exciting conversations about the incredible rum tours available throughout the Caribbean.
