We want to speak to these eight people following two incidents of disorder in Nottingham city centre.

Two people were assaulted and a restaurant window was smashed within the space of a few hours.

The first incident saw a group team up to assault a man on his own, outside Metronome, in Huntingdon Street.

When another man then tried to help, he was punched in the face by the group, while his phone was also smashed.

This happened sometime between 9.30pm and 9.45pm, on 9 November 2023, with a separate linked incident later taking place.

We believe one of the men that was involved in the earlier disorder then also smashed a restaurant window in the city centre.

After being told by staff at ‘Saracens’ to leave, the unknown man returned shortly afterwards to throw a dumbbell through the glass window.

Considerable damage was caused to the front of the restaurant in Lower Parliament Street as a result, around 12.20am on 10 November.

The two separate incidents are believed to be linked, with police now looking to speak to the eight people pictured as part of their investigation.

Sergeant Mark Clark, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We would ask that anyone who recognises any of the eight men pictured gets in touch with us.

“Likewise, we’d urge any of them that see this appeal to make themselves known to us, as they could be able to assist us with our inquiries into these two incidents.

“There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to act in the violent and aggressive manner demonstrated in both of these incidents, which we do believe are linked.

“Anyone with information can report it to us by calling 101, quoting incident 13 of 10 November 2023, or can report anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”

Our officers investigating a burglary have released CCTV images of two men they'd like to speak to.

A student returned to her accommodation in Woolpack Lane, in Nottingham’s Lace Market, and found her front door ajar.

A bank card that had been left on a table was missing and later fraudulently used to make purchases at city centre stores including KFC and CeX.

Inquiries are ongoing into the offences which were committed on Friday 7 June.

PC Ashley Hewitt said: “We are working hard to trace those responsible for these offences and remain determined to bring them to justice.

“As part of our ongoing investigation we’re urging anyone who recognises these two individuals to please come forward and get in touch with us.

“Investigating burglaries is a big priority for us, as is preventing them from happening in the first place.

“That’s why I’d like to remind all students to make sure all doors and windows are locked whenever they leave their accommodation – even if they go out for a just a few minutes as was the case in this report.”

Anyone who recognises the two people pictured or who has any other information is urged to call us on 101, quoting incident number 680 of 7 June 2024, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
