The 5 star lit up like a Christmas tree. The clock is set three minutes fast so people won’t miss their train. Hotel was formally called The North British hotel as owned by a railway company.

Second video from my training day with ETAG. Popped into Cranachan and Crowdie on the Royal Mile where I filmed a number of Christmas ideas that Beth and Fiona have brought together to make your life easier. These are only a small sample of what they have manged to squeeze into their excellent shop. They have a wonderful selection of Scottish cheeses for your Christmas Day table. Open late tonight, Thursday 11 Dec. They often have little tastings of Scottish food and drink for you to try so pop along.

Our Story

Eat walk Edinburgh provide food walking tours in Scotland's Capital city, that are slightly different. On one of our food walking tours you will drop into some first class restaurants, bars and shops, meeting local people who enthuse about what they, Edinburgh and Scotland have to offer in the way of local food and drink. Between premises your local guide will point out interesting sights of the city and give advice on other places to visit after your tour is over. On our unique Edinburgh food walking tours you will enjoy the quirky history of the city while sampling locally soourced Scottish food in five different venues with three of the stops also having a Scottish drink tastings, Gin, whisky and Beer (wine option at beer stop). This breaks up the walk into 10-15 minutes segments with seating and toilet facilities available at all of the stops.

With prior notice we can provide suitable dietary aternatives, we even have vegetarian haggis and our regular haggis is gluten free.

A food walking tour is great way to start your time in Edinburgh as we cover both the Old and New town ( New Town built in late 18th Centruy) and will give you ideas of other places to visit after the tour is over. Plus the map we give out at the end of the tour showing places visited have special offers should you wish to go back to any of them for full meal.
