Our Story

Sohot Yoga founders Bill & Elaine Thwaites are Senior Yoga teachers; authors of a upcome book called “Perfect Freedom: How to Reach a New High in Mental and Physical Health” ; and the founders of the most successful group of central London yoga studios, or as one newspaper put it “London’s celebrity hot spot”.

They are renowned for their ability in helping transform the life of students with chronic mobility issues & musculoskeletal pain. Their particular style of hot yoga is based on extensive research into how the body heals and strengthens itself. The technique requires students to reprogram their subconscious mindbody to open out to the framework of a posture, opposed to simply trying to stretch into a posture.
