❤️We had a fantastic time back at Kirkburn Court Care Home – Barchester Healthcare for our Intergenerational Jo Jingles session!

💛 Our little Jinglers have been visiting since they were tiny babies, and it’s been wonderful to watch them build confidence with each session. The joy they bring to the residents is truly heartwarming and lovely that they have watched them grow up!

🎶 Intergenerational music and movement sessions like Jo Jingles offer so many benefits for both young and old.

👶 For children, they help develop social skills, boost confidence, and encourage a love of music.

👵🏻 For residents, the sessions provide a sense of connection, reduce loneliness, and bring back happy memories through the power of music.

😭Is it just me, or does January have about 932 days in it?

Feels like we’ve been in this month for years… 🎄Christmas was a distant dream, 💷payday has taken a lifetime to arrive, and we’re still wearing 47 layers just to step outside ❄️!

Class going ahead for now but will keep you informed of any changes with access to building. There is a lot of work going on but the side door into the main hall is open.

Wrap up babies warm if you have to walk to the hall.

We try to vary our classes so that we introduce the children to lots of different styles of music and different songs but when we repeat some songs especially our term songs then we can clearly see the benefits of … REPETITION! Look at this superstar dancing along to our term son Kindyrock Twist! She remembers the actions and anticipates what comes next! 🌟
