Hi Liz and Glyn,
We had an amazing holiday, and we absolutely loved your villa! It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the pool, and the views over the lake and water fountain while we ate breakfast. We even saw the Alligator a few times!
The location was great, and it was really nice to be based in a normal street out of the Disney bubble. We are so glad we changed our plans from staying at a Disney property to being based in your villa. It was perfect.
We didn't have to call the management company as there were no issues, so all good there. The instructions you left for the house were perfect and told us everything we needed to know. We put the bins out when directed. We did fill the recycling up a bit before we left though due to the many trainers and shoes (boxes) the kids had bought while we were in America, so hopefully that wasn't an issue.
We had a great time, and can't believe it's now all in the past, but would very much love to do it again in the future.

Hi Liz and Glyn
Absolutely loved the location particularly un-overlooked and the great vista over the lake.
We will be back hopefully in 2025 and definitely in September 2026 on our retirement.( Assuming you have not sold by then ) We have been to Florida many times since the kids were born and always stayed on Southern Dunes ( Hains City ) - now we have been to yours we will be coming to you first choice and Southern Dunes second.
The house is a great size with all you need.
Well thought out with a pool bathroom, certain things are looking a little tired but nothing that would put us off for a re-booking.

Hi both,
We had a lovely time as always, thank you.
Everything was great with the villa. We have stayed in numerous villas on Sunridge Woods over the years, including number next door when it was owned by Bev Dore. We love the location, particularly the aspect looking over the lake with the new fountain. It’s a lovely quiet area and we particularly love the wildlife.
There were no issues with the villa, and we had everything we needed. The pool heating was fabulous, and we both felt it was the most effective pool heating we have ever experienced in any villa. We had no cause to call the management company so cannot comment.

Just wanted to thank you for letting us rent your holiday home. We had a wonderful time and were really sorry to check out this morning. We cleaned the house and did the laundry, so hopefully there is very little for the cleaner to do. We have moved to another property for the rest of our stay but we have to say we loved the location of your home, so much so that we would like to book it again for next year. Could you let us know what availability you have (if any) for January / February and March 2024.

Hi Liz and Glyn
Our family had a great holiday in your house and we thank you for sharing it with us. The house is in a beautiful location, and the fountain was nice to see lit up at night. As you said it is very private, and the pool was perfect. My wife and I have stayed locally, so we would go for our morning walk and stop in for a coffee. It was a great way to start our day. I know the grandchildren had a lot of fun in the pool when they were at home. Everything was fine, although we did have trouble with the pool pump filter plugging up. The pool heat pump would go off on no flow, therefore not heating the pool. My son has a pool at home so it was no problem for him to take it apart and give it a good cleaning, as it was quite dirty. It worked fine for the rest of their stay. It would be nice if there was a little bit more plastic to use for drinks etc around the pool. Maybe there is more there that they didn't find?? I know they did buy plastic throwaway cups and paper plates to use outside around the pool area.
All in all they had a great time and would certainly rent from you again.
My grandson did catch and release a nice size bass in the pond, and they saw a small gator daily.

Good afternoon,
We enjoyed the villa very much, I can't think of anything that was wrong with it.
The nice and quiet neighbourhood was a true blessing to get our well-deserved rest.
Also it was a shame about the swimming pool and I understand the predicament from the hurricane but I was not able to enjoy the nice pool.
Loved the communication with you guys, you have Been lovely throughout my whole vacation and before.
I will go next year again to Florida , I can't get enough of it.

Hi Glyn & Liz. Had a excellent stay in your property. The villa was lovely and clean on arrival, and we felt at home straight away. The property is spacious, with great views onto the lake, and the beds are comfortable. Location is great for the parks being only 20-30 mins away from Universal and Disney. Gary maintenance contacted us with advice during Hurricane Ian, it was much appreciated knowing we were't left un-contactable during such a force of nature. Highly recommended, and look forward to returning, hopefully soon. Many thanks.. Saw Alfie the Alligator nearly everyday, plus a newer slightly bigger darker one, we named Big Al..

Hello… So sorry for the late reply but after we stayed at your villa we then carried on touring around Florida! We’ve had a fab holiday! Your villa was amazing. The pool area overlooking the lake… Stunning! Honestly the space and the layout was so impressive. We had everything we needed… The bonus of the washer/dryer was great as well as meant could obviously wash clothes before the next part of our trip. If I had to give any feedback it would be on the bedroom that hosts the double bed/bunkbed combination. I felt that this room compared to the others could do with updating – the mattress – my son said was quite uncomfortable on the double bed below and the space between the bottom bed and the top bunk is extremely low? Obviously just a manufacturing thing. The other bedrooms with the way they were set out were fabulous. But the way that bedroom is laid out with not even having a bedside table/lamp just meant it didn’t feel quite as luxurious as the others. Everything was clear to follow. No problems with rubbish or using things that were left for us. We would highly recommend your villa to our friends and family. And loved the area where you were situated as relatively close to all of the areas of interest for us. But also far enough away to feel like you could relax as well. It is with much disappointment that were back!!!.
A BIG thankyou to you for being patient with our booking,
we never thought we would return. We had an amazing time.
Your house is wonderful and an amazing retreat to relax and chill after a very long& hot day out!
We had a little issue with the cleanliness of the pool on arrival but Gary sorted next day, everything else was perfect. We are definitely going to return in 2-3 yrs time? ( hopefully your house will still be available).
The only other issue was the damn traffic? Never sat in so many traffic jams!
Anyway.....once again many thanks from a very happy Fricker family.

We had another lovely time and a great stay at your home. The location is wonderful and Janette & I spent many hours just relaxing looking out over the lake. Having stayed with you twice previously it felt like a home from home.

Hi Liz & Glyn. This was our second stay in your villa. It comfortably lived up to our memories from our previous stay. Ideal location for restaurants on the 192 & at Champion's Gate, shops & theme parks. Well furnished & plenty of seating. The pool was great & we even saw the "pet" gator in the lake on a couple of evenings (but he didn't come out of the water). Thanks again.

Hi Liz & Glyn,
We had a great time and the interior of the house was pristine. The villa had everything we needed, and more for our holiday.
On opening the pool door on the first day, we noticed that the pool was turning a dark green colour. We also noticed that the water level was so low that the pump couldn’t circulate the water, so debris and hair was floating on top. Gary did come the same day and spent a good while cleaning filters and adding lots of chlorine powder and blocks. He also took photos to show the pool guy. By next morning the pool was back to crystal clear.
We had a great time, and a special thank you for allowing us to stay in your home again.

"We've recently returned from a 3 week stay at the house. The house itself is in a great location with easy access to the highway and lots of shops/restaurants.
House was really comfortable with a great pool not overlooked at all and views over the lake. We saw lots of wildlife daily including Gary the gator.
Liz and Glyn were fantastic to deal with and really accommodating. We also spoke to the property management company whilst staying there and they are brilliant and quick to respond.
We would absolutely stay here again and I'm being begged by the kids to get it booked so we can come back"

Hi Liz and Glyn,
It was a fantastic location we loved it, the villa was lovely and quiet and the neighbours were pleasant whenever we saw them. The villa had everything we needed and more, my little lad actually learnt to swim in your pool, he had so much fun!
The guy, Gary I think his name was he came and changed the battery in the smoke alarm outside of hours because it kept bleeping he was a lovely man! We did spray some ant killer which killed on contact so we were not overly bothered by them!

Review from some recent guests who have stayed at our home several times and love coming back

Once again we returned to Liz and Glyn's holiday in Davenport, Orlando Fl - We love the location - The house is in a cul-de-sac with a large natural pool at the rear with a new ornamental fountain. It is a wildlife haven, with a turtle (we have seen) an alligator (we have not) and an array of birds. The house pool is to he rear and a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The house itself is large, with the master bedroom, on suite and walk in wardrobe on one side, a huge lounge/kitchen/dining area (not forgetting a small 'chill out room' off that) - three further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need including my favorite - a coffee percolator - and there is a laundry room washer drier off - and the garage converted to a games room. We went in December for the first time and the decorations at the lead in to Sunridge Woods are beautiful. The estate is 5 minutes from two large Shopping areas going in either direction, with a Publix supermarket and there is a great deal of new restaurants at Champions Gate including an Olive Garden.

The location is about 15-20 minutes from the Disney Parks going via the 192 highway. There is any amount of golf courses - something Liz and Glyn can direct you to.

This was our second time renting this house, and we were not disappointed! The check-in is super easy, location is fantastic and home is comfortable. Kids love the pool, which backs up to water, so there is lots of quiet and privacy. The neighbourhood is safe and people are pleasant. House has everything you need for cooking, etc. Washer and dryer convenient next to the kitchen. Also, property manager saved us when we left something behind and he mailed to us. Really incredible service. Will definitely stay here again!
