So how do we work and what is our rates?
We base our work on estimated labour and how many days it should take. But here’s something many people don’t know. The price will never increase for labour if it goes over the estimated time even if it’s more than a few days. However, if we do it in less than estimated you will only be invoiced for the days worked sometimes saving up to £150 off the quote.

It’s been months of recovery after breaking my leg and ankle especially after surgery but we are back. It’s a very good and much welcomed feeling.

I’ve missed it so much. It’s very challenging sitting around not being able to get out but it’s over now so roll on the work.

This is a few messages in one post so thanks for reading.

As the cost of living rises and people struggle to pay the bills,the knock on affect on all the tradespersons and businesses is pretty severe right now.

People are very reluctant to spend money they may need in the future due to everything that is happening in the world right now.

So to all our customers past,present and future! Our prices will not increase and you will receive the same amazing dedicated team.
We also cover the cost of any power we use. The sanders,hovers and other tools requiring electricity will not be added to any invoice or hidden in the cost.

After so many successful years I feel that all our customers deserve a superior job as always with first class staff dedicated from the very beginning the standards I set for any decorator is the highest. As a business,making the right choice for our customers is key to achieving the best finish possible.

We are committed to providing the best experience possible while carrying out any project and all our staff are all vetted as standard. As from 2022 we made the decision to set this as a priority to make all of customers feel comfortable and trust us to carry out the work.

We are fully insured and every tradesperson has to have a minimum of nvq level 2 and above. This is with exception of our apprenticeship program.

We work closely with all the training body’s to make sure that every new student is committed and can participate in a good workplace with all our qualified staff keen to teach.

We do recognise that from time to time we have a person who is passionate and can do everything required but has no qualifications.

We do appreciate that this can be frustrating for some as many have grown up with family members who have taught them but never attended college. As above we only take on the best qualified decorators however from time to time I have come across a few people who know the art of decorating inside out and that are better gifted than some qualified professionals, we offer a program that will change all that. We are working with the c i t b, to help get these very rare cases to achieve there nvq qualifications fast tracked by an expert assessment and hopefully get them the right papers. There has been on to many occasions that the person doesn’t have the qualifications but knows the trade yet when going on a building site for sub contracting work they find they need a cscs card allowing them to gain entry to the site to work. Yes health and safety is vital but once a company recognises you only have a blue card with labour written on it (no offence to labourers by the way your all key to any project) you will receive a lesser payment due to this. Yes everyone they take advantage.

So with my commitment to get some of the amazing talents out there a qualification we can help and put you through our new service a new idea and a good opportunity called black sheep academy for advanced painting and decorating.
