Our travel team has been chatting today about our 2025 plans we have made so far.

Lots of us have already made so many plans for the year ahead with lots of exciting trips to look forward to!

Personally I’ve already got Tenerife, Geneva, Copenhagen and Porto already scheduled! 2025 is going to be a fab year for adventure!

12 Trips in 12 Months!

I want to try and go on at least one trip a month in 2025. I’ve got a few lined up already starting with a night out in London in January and a family holiday to Tenerife in February, but there’s plenty more months to fill up yet!

Having my own travel business will allow me to seek out the best deals to make sure I can get away as often as possible.

Join me and my family on our journey to see where we go and what get up to!

Today we braved the weather and went to choose the Christmas tree.

As always we chose one that was too big and had to cut half off when we got home. Why do they always look smaller at the farm?!

Kids had great fun decorating and of course both insisted on putting the polar bear on top, (yes we have a polar bear at the top of our tree 😂)

Just waiting for the kitten to wake up and see what she makes of it!

Lazy Saturday mornings, made for lounging in bed with a cup of tea and a cuddle with this one!

Kids are playing happily together in their bedrooms, how long will the peace and quiet last?!

While we were away the kids had their first sleepovers with both Nana’s. One night with each Nana and it looks like they had a good time all round!

A fun afternoon at our regular walk at Willows and Wetlands. It’s becoming a bit of a holidays tradition to check out the sculpture trail and finish off with cake at the cafe.

Always a hit with the kids!

There are so many things to see and do in Barcelona, here are my top tips I took away from my short break there!

On day one we headed down for a stroll around the harbour and spent the afternoon relaxing at a beach side restaurant.

While the beach is not necessarily the first tourist spot most people think of for Barcelona, it’s definitely worth a visit. The sandy beach is lovely to relax on, and it has a massive selection of restaurants, cafes and bars as well.

We ended up in Barro restaurant, which served up some excellent tapas and delicious sangria. Just bear in mind the prices do reflect the fact that you’re on the beach front in most restaurants in the area.

The harbour is equally as stunning, with glistening water and plenty of boats and yachts to have a nose at. We found the best benches right on the harbour to lie down on in the sun, and watch the boats and the world go by.

We had a lovely afternoon walk around Sheppy’s Cider farm today.

Lots of muddy puddles to splash in and lots of fun with their cousin. Watching them holding hands together melts my heart!

Take me back to Tenerife!

A few years ago I visited Golf del Sur which is located in southern Tenerife with a friend. It was a difficult time as I’d recently suffered my first miscarriage, so the holiday was exactly what I needed at the time.

The weather was beautiful, if not a bit windy, but that’s what you get for being a tiny island in the Atlantic! Still we had lots of sunshine and being right on the coast was glorious.

The hotel was a short walk from the harbour, you could take the coastal path along the beach and stroll down. There were plenty of fab bars and restaurants along the way.

Talking of restaurants, the seafood was incredible! If you’re into seafood you’d be spoilt for choice, with the best seafood platters I’ve had!

While we’ve been on holiday, Poppy had also had a weekend away, making herself at home at my parent’s house. Looks like she settled well and had fun, thanks for looking after her 🥰
