Very good morning with client, who came along for a double handed session with two setups.

One of which was a Sage trout spey, the other a 12+ 8 weight. Both are excellent for the Welsh Dee.

Great couple of days at the BFFI

It was a really great show and an opportunity to catch up with friends old and new before the seasons get going.

My daughter made a new friend , an inspiring lady and advocate for female fly tyers.

It's great to see young Matthew on fly tyers row. He's come a long way since the inaugural evening of our local fly tying club.

Managed to keep the spending to a minimum this year.

Successful day fairy recently for one half of the ginger army,

Rules to take kids fishing, you have to work around them, make it their day. You can't fit them into your plans. It doesn't work, I've tried it.

While the weathers rubbish why not pop into the shop this Saturday and prepare yourself for the season ahead. We will have a full house of staff including our main man Mike Williams, who will be at his tying bench ready to show you his vast knowledge of the art of fly tying. Kid's also got enough shiny stuff to start a Christmas shop.
