I am so sorry Hillmorton families, but I’m having to cancel today’s classes, as I’m poorly 😢. I can barely speak and have been up all night with severe throat pain.

I am ever so sorry. We’ll do our teddy bears picnic sessions next week, if you’d like to bring your foodbank items then. And I’ll email you all about arranging catch up classes for you.

A reminder that our classes on tomorrow will be held at All Star Dance & Fitness Academy while the windows are being fitted at Hillmorton Community Centre.

Parking summary:
-There are visitor parking bays to the left and right at the top as you enter the car park.
-There are a few spaces are directly in front of the studio, and you can also create a row by parking through the middle.
-Additional spaces are available along the road adjacent to the car park.
-Please avoid blocking the entrances to any other businesses.

There is a small step up into the studio, so where possible, please could you leave pushchairs in the car. There’s plenty of space in the hall to bring car seats instead.

We are thrilled to bring our multi-sensory music classes to the beautiful Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve on THURSDAYS starting January 9th 2025!

Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve is a scenic, family-friendly centre, known for its lovely, pushchair-friendly trails that are perfect for families with young children. With a cozy café, sensory garden, mud kitchens, and picnic areas, it’s an ideal location for little ones to explore before or after class. We’re so excited to launch our classes here! All bookings include FREE ENTRY to the nature reserve.

Happy Sunday, everyone! ❤️

The sun is shining, and it’s a lovely, crisp November day. We had a fantastic time at the at the NEC yesterday—it’s definitely got me feeling all Christmassy 🎅🏼✨. I may have purchased a few bits for our Christmas parties in a couple of weeks time! 🎉

I’m trying to resist the urge to decorate the house until after my birthday next week, but it’s so tempting!

What’s everyone up to today? Has anyone taken the plunge and put their tree up yet? 🎄

Thank you to everyone who joined Anneka for a busy Saturday session in Cawston this morning!

It was wonderful to celebrate the last day of World Nursery Rhyme Week with you all! We loved seeing all the little dancers, and there were so many smiles and giggles during Humpty Dumpty and Round and Round the Garden.

Starting the weekend with you is such a joy—thank you for being part of it!

Our next Saturday sessions will be our sold-out Christmas sessions, but don’t worry—booking for our January and February sessions will be opening soon! Keep an eye on our social media, as these sessions sell out fast, and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on the fun! 🎶❤️

Our last day celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week!

We love a good nursery rhyme at Rhythm Time! You may have heard a fair few of the ones listed here in our classes 🎵

Did you know that nursery rhymes play an important part in your child’s language and speech development? 🧠 🗣️

The repetition of certain sounds and words can help them with their phonemic awareness which will benefit them when they learn to read 📕

They also help them to be able to hear different sounds and enable them to moderate their pitch and volume 🎶

This has been researched by some of the top universities in the world!

It’s quite amazing how something has simple as a nursery rhyme can be so beneficial for your little ones 🥰

We had lots of fun in Hillmorton this morning, celebrating World Nursery Rhyme week! ⭐️🎶

The toddlers did an amazing job with their action songs today! And they really enjoyed the puppets during Old Macdonald 🧑‍🌾.

We had some milestone achievements in baby, with a couple of little ones playing the lollipop drum for the very first time! And they had lots of fun following the beach ball. We even ended up with an accidental game of volleyball in one of our classes! 😂🙈

The young babies were enjoying some sensory time with the lights, ribbons and bubbles at the end of their class today. Some amazing eye tracking! 🪩 🫧

Thank you so much everyone! Don't forget that next week our sessions will be held at All Stars Dance Academy on the Friday, whilst the windows are being upgraded at Hillmorton Community Centre.

🎶 LISTENING! 👂

During our listening activities, our toddlers focus on building their listening skills and awareness. Each week, we tune in to different sounds with Rat-a-tat, our listening bunny. Together, we talk about these sounds and even try to imitate them! 🐰

Did you know that hearing is one of the first senses to develop? Introducing various sounds to your little one sparks those neural connections in their brain, helping them understand the world around them. 🧠🌟

Every moment in our classes is a chance to play with purpose and learn through music! 🎶
