Just returned from the amazing country of Malta. We stayed at the Intercontinental hotel in St Julian’s which is a 5 star hotel part of the IHG group. Superb location, the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. Also if you book a club room or a suite you get to use the club lounge which offered an array of beers, soft drinks and hot drinks all day, afternoon tea was served 2.30-4.30pm and between 5.30-7.30 spirits including cocktails and champagne and Hors d’oeuvre. You can even have a glass or two of champagne with your breakfast 😍.
So much to see and do in Malta. We went to the island of Gozo on a boat trio, visited Valletta, Sliema. A word of warning if going in high season it’s very hot 38 degrees and the nightlife is not for the faint hearted. I can see why it’s a favourite with both the young and older generation.
The hotel also has its own private beach 3 minutes walk from the hotel. All amenities close by shops, cinema, bars, restaurants and only a 2 minute walk from the paceville nightlife.

We don't mean to rock the boat, but this marine-themed hotel might be a new firm fave for us. We had a whale of a time, and it was pretty clear from the moment we walked in and saw the portholes and ship-shaped pool bar (literally) that they take their themes VERY sea-riously around here. (As people who have deckchairs and inflatable flamingos in their office, we get that.) Just a heads up - Wi-Fi's a bit spotty here, but we decided to embrace the 'off the grid' vibes and kick back by the pool without worrying about our next Insta story. Verdict: we highly recommend. We also love an all-inclusive programme as much as the next person (if the next person is the biggest, baddest all-inclusive fan there ever was), and while it's not *totally* blow-your-mind, knock-your-socks-off packed with options here, there's still plenty to go at, and we did pay extra for a few cocktails because they were worth it. They were also STRONG, so a few was enough. Plus, with the exclusive beach club right on your doorstep, you're only ever a quick hop away from a waterslide, comfy cabana or a Starbucks iced coffee.
