And that’s a wrap from me at Baby Sensory West Cumbria.
Vicky Davidson will be taking over Baby Sensory West Cumbria from me, from January 2025.

For the past 5 years I’ve ran Baby Sensory in the North and West of Cumbria.As it has grown in popularity so much,I’m going to focus on meeting the demand for classes in North Cumbria and Vicky is going to run classes in the west.

I’ve met so many lovely families and it’s an absolute honour for me to be part of your maternity experience and be a part of your little ones lives during their first year. I’m sure Vicky will continue to take the classes from strength to strength.

It was graduation week last week for many babies that have been coming since they were very small.

It is an absolute privilege for me to see your babies grow into little people.

Should I be signing to my baby?

There's no right or wrong here, however, signing is great for facilitating a foundation of trust and understanding between you and your baby.

If you sign to your baby you also have a distinct advantage in responding to your baby’s needs.

Communication through signing may also strengthen your confidence, pleasure, and responsiveness. It also empowers your baby to communicate what they can’t say to get their basic needs met, which reduces stress and frustration and makes for a happier, calmer baby/parent relationship.

Though signing may not be for everyone, it's worth giving it a try to see if it works for you and your baby.

Winter Wonderland!

We had a big mountain to climb today,to reach the northern lights.And….it was very wintery!
