This is a spacious, modern apartment with luxury furnishings quietly set back from the popular beach front, yet only a four minute walk to the buzzing 'Blue Bar', Moomaid of Zennor ice cream parlour, surf schools, beach shop and family pub with adjacent children's play area. The Cove is a hamlet of modern homes and apartments built in 2007 that are set into the north facing cliffside and therefore experiences the unequalled Cornish sunset. The apartment has stunning views towards the Blue Flag beach (RNLI Lifeguard cover until end October) and the cliffs on the other side of the gorse and heather-covered valley with its traditional engine houses reminiscent of Cornwall's mining heritage.

Porthtowan is set amidst some of the finest beaches and coastal walks in the south west. It has an interesting past and is not the ‘polished’ environment experienced in other more commercialised parts of Cornwall. This is a ‘gritty’, down to earth part of the county with many features reminiscent of its rich mining history. It is also home to many local Cornish families so it has an integrity which many areas have now sadly lost. You will find it the perfect place to unwind as well as a great base for exploring everything that Cornwall has to offer. Take your choice from its unique and dramatic scenery, broad sandy beaches, country pubs, grand houses and gardens, art galleries, quirky shops, entertainment and good food. The position of The Cove provides the perfect opportunity to simply park the car and leave it for as long as you like. From chilling on the small balcony, to letting the children play in one of two local play areas, hitting the surf (there are two surf schools), walking the coastal footpaths or simply hanging out in the bars, you can walk to anything you could possibly need, even a good Cornish fish and chip take away. Venturing just a little in the car you reach the vibrant cathedral city of Truro in minutes, with its interesting shops, restaurants, museum, music venues, cinema and bars. Either side of Porthtowan are characterful villages including St Agnes and Chapel Porth and just a little further beyond are the wide beaches of Perranporth, alternatively heading further west, is the artists' haven of St Ives. You really do feel you are in the heart of every facet the beautiful county of Cornwall could offer you. Our aim is to help you enjoy your holiday with high standards of cleanliness and service, as well as information on places to visit and local activities. Within the apartment will find a folder full of local knowledge to help your holiday become memorable as soon as you arrive.
