We are in the Brecon Beacons area with tiny group & private sessions of engaging good days out that help the environment, conservation, heritage, animals, wildlife or the community. We take your safety seriously but are also able to help you have a stress-free couple of hours that really take you away from your normal life. If you like animals, you'll love all our experiences. Our group sizes are
1-8 people maximum and we work with trainers who love what they do and are really keen to share this with you in a friendly and informative way. All are also available as "private sessions" so you can just be yourselves. All our experiences benefit good causes in some way so you can have a Good Day Out whilst doing good.

Today is the feast day of Saint Melangell, patron saint of hares and rabbits.
Prince Brochwel Ysgithrog was hunting near Pennant in the year 604 when his hounds chased a hare into a thicket, where they found a beautiful maiden at prayer. The hare sheltered under the hem of her garment, and the dogs fled. The Prince, discovering that the lady was Melangell, a king’s daughter who had fled Ireland to escape a forced marriage, gave her the valley as a place of sanctuary. Melangell remained there, where she founded a nunnery.

We were full this week as we only take tiny groups on our private & join-in walks. However, The Piglets are now a year old & seriously loving their walks so we've added in a bit of availability Wednesday & Thursday. You'll also have fun with the older girls so no-one gets left out :)🐖

So proud. D***s & horses had their 6 weekly farrier visit today. The D***s just need their hooves checking & levelling with rasps. Donkeys are very prone to fungal problems with their hooves like seedy toe and their skin like rain scald & mud fever. Clean bill of health which is great after such a wet winter.
Our farrier Rhodri even commented that they have the best hooves of any donkeys he has ever seen :) 🫏🎉
Good Day Out only works to the highest welfare standards & individual care for all animals we are lucky enough are working with us :)

The pigs are raring to go after their winter break! Piggy walks start again at the end of next week & continue through to October.
We have 3 different experiences this year:
🐽 Piggy Walk with a Pignic of tea & cakes after your walk & paddle.
🐖 Piggy Walk in the Valley, a scenic walk & paddle.
🐷 Piggy Interaction which is great for those with a bit less mobility who just want to spend some quality piggy time.
Please pop to our site to book - April is filling up fast - we are not a petting farm and all our sessions are tiny group sizes you can join or private groups, so advance booking is required. See you soon!
