Tulip route checking in France today, in preparation for our 2025 D-Day landing beaches tour.

After completing the route, we spent some time paying our respects at the British Normandy Memorial and Arromanches, overlooking the Mulberry Harbour.

Incredibly poignant, and touching.

Kieran & Oliver will be in next week to pay their respects, and recce the 2025 commemorative tour we are arranging, to mark the occasion and anniversary.

Our group received a very warm welcome at their coffee stop yesterday at the grand historic 5* Palé Hall Hotel. Based at the edge of Snowdonia with great views...even in the rain! Thank you for having us 😄

Our Portmeirion and Mid Wales tour starts tomorrow and we can't wait!

We stay in two hotels for this tour, the Portmeirion Hotel and Lake Country House Hotel & Spa whilst exploring Wales in style with stunning scenery, food and superb accommodation, along with a private performance from the Welsh Male Voice Choir Côr Meibion Dwyfor .

The last day of our first (of two) Cornwall at Pentillie Castle 2024 tour is underway, and what better way to spend a pit stop on the ‘Bucket and Spade’ run, than with a cream tea at the Borough Arms 😊

Tomorrow is the start of the first of two tours we have running this year to Cornwall with exclusive use of Pentillie Castle and Estate for the duration of the tour.

This tour includes three runs across Dartmoor. to the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan and to the North Cornwall coast.

Those going on this tour will be treated to beautiful scenery along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way including driving along the 'Sky Road' in Connemara.

We’ve been on the Isle of Man the past couple of days, planning our 2025 Backwater tour. 🇮🇲

Our hire car for the trip looks very similar to the classic and sports cars we’ll have back for the tour next year, doesn’t it? 😉

Thank you, as always, to Mylchreests for providing staff cars for our regular visits, be it for our Backwater events, or our larger Isle of Man Festival of Motoring, every September. 🤝👌

Katie, Kieran, Adam & Susanne have spent the day at , putting the finishing touches to our Celebration of Backwater Classic Car Tours, in April.

We also checked the Surrey hills tulip run; it promises to be a brilliant scenic Saturday spring drive.

Thank you to Brooklands Hotel, Brooklands Museum and Mercedes-Benz World for taking the time to see us, and working with us once more. 🤝
