Virgin Atlantic announces direct routes to the Maldives and Turks & Caicos islands in 2023. ✈️

⭐️ From 23rd October 2023 Virgin Atlantic will fly three-times a week to the Maldives from London Heathrow.

For many of us at the moment we are trying to find ways to save money but still do it the right way!

Here's some of my favourite tips on how to do this for your future holidays ✈️

⭐️ BOOK IN ADVANCE - spread your holiday cost over time. To book a holiday well in advance I only require a small deposit. I can book most holidays around 12-18 months in advance depending where you travel to. As soon as flights are released you have the cheapest seats available to book.

⭐️ FREE CHILD PLACES - make the most of free child places. More options available the more in advance you book. If you are flexible on dates and destination even better

⭐️ USE INSET DAYS - all schools around the country have different inset days - so check these dates and if you can travel earlier or later this could make a big difference to the cost of the holiday

⭐️ FLIGHT TIMES - if you aren't fixed in to travelling certain times then travelling on later flights or unsociable times could make a big difference to your holiday cost.

⭐️ FLYING INDIRECT - this would appeal to more long haul destinations to make it worth while. Some of the difference in cost by flying indirect can be HUGE. So if you are open to this could save here.

⭐️ TWIN CENTRE HOLIDAYS - want to go away for 14 or 10 nights to a luxury hotel but prices are high? Why not split the stay with a cost effective hotel and a
higher end hotel.

⭐️ TRANSFERS - try and pre book transfers where you can as I have found this year from my own travels that paying on arrival or direct with hotels can be very expensive. I have a few transfer suppliers that have
fantastic prices Lo I cater to all budgets and all different client requests to make it as personal and tailored to you.

We have been notified by one of our airline partners that they have seen an increase in the number of passengers turning up to the airport without a valid signed passport.

Following the departure from the EU, it is a requirement for all passports issued by HM Passport Office to be signed.

💫Passports are now not valid until they have been signed.

There are exceptions to this rule

You’re aged 11 or under
You can’t sign because of a disability
In these instances, the passport will show ‘the holder is not required to sign’.

Ibiza offers so much more than clubbing and partying. There are many beautiful areas to visit. One of those being the resort of Es Caná wrapped around a horseshoe-shaped beach of golden sand ideal for families.

There is a small harbour where you can take a sea ferry to Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Town and even to Ibiza's sister island Formentera.

I took a taxi to a short taxi ride to Santa Eulalia costing approximately €10. Offering a beautiful, palm- lined promenade and sandy beach, a choice of restaurants, bars and Yacht Marina, Santa Eulalia is a great option for couples and families.

Going on an All Inclusive holiday to Majorca or Ibiza this year? Make sure you’re aware of this information before you travel.

In an attempt to reduce antisocial behaviour, the government of the Balearic Islands has announced that All-inclusive holidaymakers will now be restricted to just six drinks a day, which can only be accessed alongside their lunch and dinner e.g. three with lunch, three with dinner.
It’s important to note this rule only impacts holidays to certain destinations;

Magalluf, El Arenal, Playa de Palma in Mallorca and Sant Antoni/San Antonio in Ibiza.

Promotion of pub crawls, the sale of alcohol in shops between 9.30pm and 8am, and advertising party boats in some areas of the Balearic Islands has also been banned under the new rules designed to improve the health and safety of holidaymakers, as well as the welfare of local communities

Twin centre holidays are a great way to get the most out of your trip.

After staying 2 nights in Sorrento we took a short ferry trip over to stunning Positano where we stayed at one of the small luxury hotels of the world, Villa Franca.

The position of the hotel is set high above Positano offering the most stunning views. We grabbed our walking shoes
and made the most of exploring this magnificent town.

The rooftop pool at the hotel was the ultimate treat after, where we relaxed and soaked up the sun, this is the perfect spot for those seeking peace and tranquillity.

I love Italy and Sorrento is one of my favourite seaside towns. It's sophisticated, chic and a perfect base to explore the beautiful Bay of Naples and spectacular Amalfi Coast.

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary by doing a twin centre of Sorrento and Positano which was an amazing combination.

Our first stop was at Hotel Plaza Sorrento which is in a fantastic location within a short stroll from the many charming shops, buzzing bars and many restaurants offering delicious Italian cuisine.

We enjoyed panoramic views of Sorrento whilst sipping a cocktail at the sky bar roof terrace and also from the comfort of our sun bed beside the infinity pool, it was dreamy...
