The school day can be full of excitement and activity, and sometimes students just want to unwind in a calm space before going back to lessons.
That is why the library offers a community jigsaw for anyone to help out with.
Jigsaws offer a mindful experience, and working on it together encourages teamwork and a sense of community.
This year we’ve completed 8 book themed puzzles!
Huge thanks to Soulaf and Dinithi for their hard work and dedication, and their support of younger students – what a team!

Amazing week so far at NDA. Whilst Year 6 enjoyed their transition and Year 10 continue with mocks the rest of the school were hard at work in the classroom!

Open to all year groups: Mrs McManners & Mr Findlay have teamed up to bring a fantastic attendance prize for next half term. Starting 26th Feb until we break up for Easter, any student with at least 95% attendance during this period and no unauthorised absence. For all our Sunderland fans, there is another prize from Sunderland to be confirmed!

A huge well done to Ryan L in Year 11! He competed in the British Extreme championship in Wales this weekend, during Saturday’s qualifying prologue, he came 1st in class and 32nd overall out of 242 riders. This gave him the opportunity to set off from the 2nd row on Sunday's race. He has rode against a lot of fully grown men, kept his head and was determined throughout, leading him to come first in class and 30th overall.
