📣Learning to Learn Book📣 As this book will be replacing the school diary, it was important to retain some space for students to track their own progress. #learning #progress

📣Learning to Learn Book📣 DEAR! To support students being able to look back at progress all DEAR extracts are already resourced ready to be completed in the book. Once the class has completed the text, students will then read for pleasure with their own book. #learning #reading Any questions please email Mrs Wilkinson on [email protected]

📣Learning to Learn Book📣 Reveal 4 At NDA we have a comprehensive personal development curriculum. Students spend 45minutes with tutors each morning and we want you at home to be able to see what students are doing each day. All work will be completed in the book where students develop their oracy skills through class debate. Reading and writing skills by exploring morpheme of the week. They will also be taught each of the three R's strategies for their homework that week and lastly complete their life/careers curriculum. #learning

📣Learning to Learn Book 📣 Reveal three! All subjects have provided roadmaps (the lesson journey) knowledge organisers and homework for up to Christmas. This supports learners to understand how learning is connected but also allows you at home to support them with homework and engaging in what students are currently learning. #learning All homework will be completed within the L2L book. 📣Learning to Learn Book📣 Our second reveal shows how we are supporting students to know and remember more using our Three R's (Reduce, Remember, Review). There are 8 strategies which will be taught both in tutor time and with classroom staff before being assigned as homework. Each strategy has a step-by-step guide but we have also created QR codes that take you to a video which features a demonstration. #learning

📣COVER REVEAL 📣 We are excited to share our new Learning to Learn book which is replacing our school diary. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing the hard work that has gone in to creating a fully resourced learning book. From roadmaps with lesson journeys, knowledge organisers and so much more this is a fantastic resource in supporting students to knowing and remembering more! On top of this all homework has been planned until Christmas, ready to be completed in the book. See our key facts page coming up next!

Our Year 10's took part in a CSI Day yesterday. There was some fantastic work from students with budding futures as Crime Scene Investigators or Forensic Scientists!
