😷I have had first hand experience of ending up in hospital when on holiday, so when it comes to advising my customers about the necessity of having travel insurance for every trip, it is top of my tick list (along with passport info!). This occasionally means sending the customer away to check their insurance before booking their holiday.
✈️One of my customers this week was really keen to book their holiday departing in just a few weeks but hadn't fully considered the implications of some medical investigations on their insurance, so rather than booking the holiday straight away, I advised them to have a chat with their insurers, this was the message I have just received:

First time in Benidorm
🇪🇸🇪🇸Benidorm🇪🇸🇪🇸 👨👩👧When I was given the opportunity to take my family to Benidorm for a holiday, I was curious to find out what the attraction was for over 800,000 British visitors every year (less than a third of the total visitors) and many of them repeat holidays! 👱♀️Daughter 2 was full of interesting facts having studied Benidorm as part of a geography project! But I won't bore you other than to share that Benidorm was built specifically as a tourist destination which means it copes really well with lots of visitors all year round. 🇪🇸Benidorm really does have something for everyone! 👨👩👧👧👨👩👧👧What really stood out was the number of multi-generational families with young children and grandparents or older siblings with their own families. Yes there are the stags/hens 🤵👰 and groups celebrating birthdays particularly at the weekends but if that is not your thing, avoid English Square and head for the old town! 🍺🍺🍺 🚴🏊♀️🚣♂️If you want more than sitting on the beach every day, there are plenty of things you can do such as hire a car, jeep safari, ebike tours, jet ski, horse riding, coasteering or join a cultural tour and more besides. 🌴🌞🌊But if you love the sun and the beach (Mr O loves the sun but not the sand, so would not move all day from his sunbed on the beach!), the beach is cleaned early every morning and the sea is beautiful. If you are up early, the beach tended to be quieter and also during siesta. 🍷🥘We had a great time, enjoying the tapas and sangria and flying back into Southampton made it such an easy trip✈️One happy family👨👩👧
I was going to do a fabulous post about flying from Southampton Airport to Alicante last week but the European air traffic controllers had other ideas! So no video to show you about what the great facilities it has, how far you don’t have to walk to get to your gate and the updated hospitality venues it has! I did however get to fly from Bristol Airport very early in the morning after a very scary taxi ride so no video as it was far too early for that! So to make up for all of this here is a video flying out of Alicante on our way to Southampton! ❤️✈️I do love flying into Southampton, no massive queues to get through border control and by the time I had been to the ladies, our luggage was there! Happy days! And the speed that my daughter drove us home, I was sorting the washing out 15 minutes later 😂
