The next Alderney Tours 'Night Safari' will be at 9pm Tuesday 2nd May. Last time out we saw a dozen hedgehogs including the local 'blondes', also Wood Mouse, Barn Owl, Bats, moths and much more. A very rewarding Alderney Tours Wildlife tour today for visiting UK guests. Over 150 species of fauna and flora recorded included superb views of Dartford Warblers and Glanville Fritillary Butterflies, also Clouded Yellow and Green Hairstreak. Rare wildflowers included Alderney Sea Lavender, Bee Orchids and Yellow Horned Poppy. Also Small Elephant and Hummingbird Hawkmoths. Photos posted here were taken during todays tour, Dartford Warbler with tail blowing in the wind and Glanville Fritillary soaking up the sun.

The next ‘After Dark Safari’ will be Wednesday 8th June.
Come out with us after dark to experience Alderneys nocturnal wildlife, the chance to see the endearing ‘Blonde’ Hedgehogs also Bats and Barn Owls weather permitting. We use the very latest wildlife detecting equipment including a thermal imaging camera ensuring minimal disturbance to the wildlife.
Minibus collection from and return to your hotel included.
With Alderneys leading hedgehog expert Susy Weir and Channel Islands leading Wildlife tour guide John Horton (as seen on BBC Countryfile).
