Don't miss a chance to see Bath in November, as the pretty autumn scenes change to the twinkling of Christmas lights and markets.
Things start with a bang as Bath celebrates Bonfire Night (also known as Guy Fawkes Night) - traditionally celebrated on 5th November, there are firework displays throughout the first few days of the month, including Fireworks on The Rec on 2nd November - undoubtably the biggest firework display in Bath - but if you want a different view, we suggest walking to the top of Alexandra Park where you will be able to see the whole sky above the city illuminated.
Bath is also home to a large collection of art galleries and museums, all of which have something different to offer. You can head to The American Museum and Gardens to see Unforgettable Behaviour which showcases work from previous Wildlife Photographer of the year collections. Or head to the Holburne Museum to see Chila Kumari Singh Burman's work take over the front of the museum.
For those who enjoy a night to the theatre, new shows include Here You Come Again at the Theatre Royal from 5 - 9 November, with Filumena following closely after
The Festival of Light also makes it highly anticipated return to Longleat. Starting from 9 November, take a journey through time exploring more immersive and interactive lanterns than ever before and lanterns from various periods of time all the way back to the Ice Age.
The streets of Bath will explode with festive cheer when the Bath Christmas Market makes it return at the end of November. Featuring over 230 twinkling chalets entwining some of Bath’s most iconic monuments, a plethora of food and beverage stalls and a light display that will transport you to another word, this is certainly a must see during your visit.
