Such a wonderful two days staying at the Rosewood London, attending both the Carrier and TTG Luxury Travel awards.

I was a finalist at both events so it meant the world to me to be amongst such inspiring and passionate people from the Travel industry.

I spent time with some truly inspiring people over two wonderful and luxury events.

Carrier event was held at the iconic and beautiful BAFTA headquarters and the TTG Luxury awards at the Biltmore Mayfair.

Awards time! First event tonight should be pretty special, always a treat with Carrier and at the beautiful BAFTA. I'm lucky enough to be one of the finalists at this prestigious event and can't wait!

The trip of a lifetime, a dream destination, somewhere in the world so very special and on my clients bucket list!

EASTER ISLAND!!

Just wow! Not only have I never sent anyone here in my 27 yesrs in the industry but getting here is pretty tricky especially when the matter of a cyclone stopping all flights decided to show up at the wrong time!

To my delight they made it despite the challenge of a cyclone and I can honestly say I don't think I have ever been so happy to see my clients fulfill their dreams!

It's such a very special place and this picture they sent me today as the sun rose on the Moai on Easter Island meant the world to me. Just blown away.. such a very special holiday!

How amazing is this?!

The history of this island is fascinating Easter Island is a Chilean territory, its a remote volcanic island, Easter Island must surely be one of the greatest mysteries of human civilization. Many theories have been formed over the years about where the original inhabitants came from, why they built hundreds of monumental statues called Moai, how they transported them and why the people who made them eventually died out.

Between 600 and 800 A.D., a group of colonists from an unidentified location in Eastern Polynesia settled on Easter Island after sailing in a southeasterly direction for many weeks. The name Easter Island originated with the European explorer Jacob Roggeveen, who first saw the island on Easter Sunday, 1722!!!

I was so surprised to receive this lovely gift today.

Some very special clients finally made it on their trip to New Zealand, that was supposed to happen pre COVID!! So a long time coming..

They had an unexpected start to their trip and had to adapt their plans which meant by the time they came home they had flown around the world 🌎 With airlines still making some last minute changes it means things dont always go exactly to plan and it's never easy to have to change your plans last minute! But we did it and they had a fabulous time.This is why it's so important to have a travel professional on your side!

Sometimes there are challenges with travel and it's inevitable that things can change, with unforseen circumstances arising more and more in this ever changing world. But booking with a travel agent and through a reputable tour operator always makes these things easier to deal with and more often than not you can end up with a better outcome!
