Please email us for more information. Miscreations is the concentration of their respective expertise as performers, story-tellers and warped-dreamers.
Allendale-based Miscreations Theatre is currently managing a project called WILDING THEATRE bringing together local communities through performance, live earth sculptures, digital engagement, and workshops. At the centre of Miscreations are two theatre professionals who have led fruitful careers on international stages as the clowns and monsters and hero’s and victims of innumerable productions. A
ron De Casmaker is a clown performer, writer and teacher who has travelled the world for love of his craft. Originally from Canada, he has worked internationally for over ten years with a number of companies including Cirque du Soleil, Slava's Snowshow, Stufish LTD and Vamos Theatre to name a few. Aron was a founding member of the award-winning Theatrophy – Undead Theatre. Aron is a Graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier in France, Scuola Internazionale del Attore Comico in Italy and holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies from the University of Calgary. He continues to teach in universities, conservatories and private classes alike. Rebecca Jameson was born in Newcastle. She has performed in London, Glasgow, Paris, Barcelona, Nabul (Tunisia), Cairo (Egypt), and, of course, Newcastle. She has worked with various companies, including Théâtre Sans Frontières, Scottish Opera, TAG, Hullabaloo and Mad Alice. People with whom she has trained include Desmond Jones, Joss Houben, Linda Kerr-Scott, Monika Pagneux and Philippe Gaulier. After many years of playing young boys, female ingénues and talking Hares called Harriet, she broke the trend to flex a few meatier acting muscles in the guise of Lady Macbeth and Milady from The Three Musketeers. The elusive spirit of the Clown is what keeps her interested in performing. Professionally she is more than happy to look like an idiot on stage and to this end she travels the world.

Some sad news but we are aware that our lovely Hexham Giant has been vandalised again and has suffered more damage. We are spending some time thinking about what we want to do about it and will keep you updated with any plans.
