The Oberoi, New Delhi my last hotel on an incredible journey across India. An incomparable venue for business or leisure with stunning views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb on one side and a calming view of the forested golf course on the other.
My room was huge with floor to ceiling windows and talking of views - electric blinds for a dramatic wake up and then if you have time stepping in a relaxing bath gazing out over Delhi!!
It also has fabulous rooftop bar and restaurant where you can sit in the warm breeze taking everything in and also a swimming pool and spa!
A perfect end to an incredible trip and who knew Delhi would be so green!!!

I’m lucky I have Lyla with me every day! She’s not quite so demanding now as she was when she was a puppy!! Living off grid means we can take long walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside before I start working and she is free to roam safely outside when the weather is fine, one drop of rain though and she’s back on the boat!!
I love having her by my side to celebrate my highs and to cheer me up when I’m feeling low ❤️

A bucket list is a collection of goals, dreams or experiences you hope to achieve or partake in during your lifetime. At the top of my list was to visit the Taj Mahal.
In 1992, a photograph of Princess Diana alone on a bench in front of this magical building became one of the most famous photographs in the world. It captured something within me and I’ve felt drawn to it ever since.
The video of me walking through the archway was my first full glimpse and I wanted to capture that moment. Unfortunately my necklace got caught around my headphones and phone case and I struggled to video myself without pulling it and trying to dodge others around me was no mean feat!
I wanted to take my time but being in a group it was hard to keep together, first stop of course “the bench” then we walked around the grounds capturing different angles and after going inside (no photos were allowed) we could just wander around. I spent my time having a few professional shots taken then quietly sitting taking it all in.
It is more beautiful and magnificent in real life than it is in any image you see ❤️

Jaipur - up bright and early to try and avoid the heat!
We visited Amber Fort, approximately 11km from Rajasthan’s capital, a truly spectacular fort and UNESCO world heritage site located high on the hill next to the town of Amer and was a royal residence from around 1600 when construction started until approximately 1728. The views are incredible!
We then explored Jaipur or the “Pink City”, in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh had most of the buildings painted pink—the color of hospitality—in preparation for a visit by Queen Victoria, hence it’s called the Pink City. Now known for its bazaars, forts, temples, palaces and the observatory which I found fascinating.
It never ceases to amaze me how these buildings were built back in the day!

I’m back in the office after an amazing adventure sailing on the Ganges and visiting the Golden Triangle a true bucket list itinerary!
My first 3 nights was spent cruising the Ganges, taking a tour of Kolkata, Kalna and its local markets, walking around the incredible Rajbari Temple complex and riding on electric rickshaws! We also had the privilege of seeing a small pod of Ganges River dolphins by chance which are incredibly rare nowadays, not great footage as they were really hard to follow but nonetheless I managed to capture a couple!
