Quick visit to Millers LODGE to check on things with this weather and it’s all cosy and warm plus just the best with this Autumn Sun

Making the most of it and sitting in the Sun enjoying my coffee before heading back home to the admin I’ve been putting off

Our little getaway is also available for select holiday lets (please be advised we are not pet friendly due to my asthma) but if you’re after a peaceful getaway with a south facing decking then our little Millers LODGE is perfect

Grampy had blown up some ballons ready for his visit, but he loved the heliium ones, Tommy & card from Sammy’s Squad

Finally got myself up here, albeit 24hrs later…..Friday didn’t quite go to plan….but that’s ok

Even when the weather isn’t playing ball Millers LODGE is a beautiful, chilled environment to recharge and take some time to still the mind….

Really is like home from home

WELCOME to our new little get away which we will be offering lets on when we are not escaping the hussle and bustle

Only half an hour down the road in South Cerney and once there, you will feel like you could be anywhere, feeling totally relaxed

We shall be opening MILLERS LODGE for getaway rentals from 1st May 2024

We have personally tested everything, from kitchen wear to bed linen and towels, to ensure everything is comfortable

MILLERS LODGE consists of:-

Parking for two vehicles

A roomy entrance hall with storage for your coats and outside shoes (tote bag incase you need to pop to the onsite shop)

Master bedroom, king size bed with an en-suite
Twin room
(Both bedrooms have a TV, wardrobe, dressing table & in the master bedroom a hairdryer

Additional bathroom with shower and toilet

Lounge / kitchen / dining area with intergrated fridge/freezer / dishwasher / washing machine (there is an airer & pegs, iron & ironing board)

Gas hob, grill & oven, plus a microwave

For the coffee lovers like myself there is a Nespresso Vertuo machine (pods not supplied)

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need

Smart TV (in lounge & twin room) & Wi-Fi throughout

Gas central heating, fully double glazed plus a little faux fire heater in the lounge

(STRICTLY NO SMOKING OR VA**NG)

OUTDOOR AREA:- (South facing!)

Six seater dining set & parasol, plus a sun lounger & table
(Perspex dining plates and glasses for outside dining)

Outdoor storage box for all seat cushions and parasol
(We would politely ask they are not left out when not being used, to ensure we can keep everything beautiful for you lovely peeps and ourselves

(STRICTLY NO SMOKING, VA**NG OR BBQ’s on the decking)

MILLERS LODGE will never be pet friendly due to personally having asthma and finding it quite hard to find accommodation ……however, fear not, the lovely Tracey & Lee at Cotswold Retreats have a selection of over 40 Lodges that are pet friendly, so everyone is accommodated for and no fur babies are left out…

MILLERS LODGE will be serviced by myself to ensure it is of the highest level of cleanliness at all times and everything is in perfect working order

Water Lily Meadow is located on the Hobourne site and offers lots of entertainment daily with a fantastic new indoor softplay and pool, plus an outdoor pool overlooking the lake, crazy golf plus so much more and for the keen fishers, we have an outdoor storage box on the back of the lodge for you to keep your fishing tackle in, there is over 140 lakes across the Cotswolds Water Park establishment of which 4 are located at this site

MILLERS LODGE is a 5 minute walk from the clubhouse and all actives, bar and restaurant plus the best kept mini store I have every seen

This weekend will be spent getting Millers LODGE all ready for our first rental. Three lovely ladies and I want to ensure everything is just perfect for their stay……….plus a little cheeky R&R in the Sun for me!

Morning lovely peeps,

Mr M & I had our first guest stay with us for a boys fishing trip…..they’re off fishing again this morning and after sorting brekkie and packing them off….

A little washing & now to chill with brekkie!

“Just spent two days fishing and stayed at Terry’s and Maddie’s at Holborn near Cirencester in the Cotswolds. The holiday village was very well kept and if you enjoy the sun the veranda gets the sun from dawn to dust, the lodge is very comfortable it’s definitely someones home. The photo is of the Kingfisher lake and there are three others you can fish as well. Definitely worth a visit even if you don’t fish and best nights sleep in ages”
