Our friends at the Barton Cleethorpes Community Rail Partnership recently held an art competition, inviting their local communities to submit artwork that captures either the essence of community rail, the stunning landscapes and architecture along the line, or how the railway has changed britain and the world to celebrate 200 years of the modern railway 🎨

These are the winning artworks for Barrow Haven, both painted by Richard Summerfield, which will be reproduced as weatherproof installations and revealed at the station on Tuesday 8 April.

Winners for all stations along the line will be selected over the coming weeks, so keep your eye's peeled 👀
