On behalf of everyone at Abergwynant we would like to wish you all a very happy New year!! 🎊

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas too. 🙏

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's supported us over the last year. 2024 was a very exciting year for us as we launched our Highland Cowbin Log Cabin. The reaction we've had since we opened the cabin has been absolutely overwhelming and I'd like to say a special thanks to our dear friend Jade Lloyd for her viral tiktok post of our Cowbin during her recent stay which has already reached over a million people!! The reviews you've left us have also been so lovely to read too. It really does mean so much to us. ♥️

As we start 2025, we're going to be focusing our efforts on carrying out further refurbishments to our holiday accommodation with some major upgrades taking place throughout this year to our Mill House, Granary, Stable Cottage and the rest of our farm. We'll be sharing our progress with regular updates and we're also going to be doing some more behind the scenes content of our farm.

We're very lucky to live so near to the Mach Loop. It's a valley used by the RAF and other airforces from around the world to practice their maneuvers. It's also great for plane spotting too. A big thanks to Louise Ward Photography for letting us share her photos captured during her last stay with us.

We had a lovely trek at the Cumbria Heavy Horse Centre. Riding Duke and Darcy, 2 giant Clydesdales. Without a doubt the biggest horse I've ever ridden but loved every minute of the experience. Even managed a little canter. 😆 Our guide Katie was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be returning again for a gallup on the beach next time. ⛱️

It's been great getting back into saddle. Definitely getting the itch for more days like these. 🐎

Welcome to our Highland Cowbin, our highland cow themed log cabin. Hand built from chunky locally grown timber. The cabin sleeps upto 4 guests in an open plan arrangement with a King Size bed and a full size bunk bed. It has an ensuite shower room and full size kitchen area complete with a dishwasher. It also has an outdoor seating area with a solostove firepit.

It's that time of year again when we start to see some new arrivals to our farm. 🐎

Just a guy brushing his highland cow.... 😜

We decided that Bonnie needed a good groom after being up in the woodland over the winter. Her fluffy coat was very matted up but after just a few minutes it was back to show condition. She was really well behaved too considering she was brought in for her annual T.B test which we're pleased to say she passed. 🥳
