This client described beautifully the experience of CBT Hypnotherapy for treating her anxiety . “I think having a safe space that I was the sole focus of, allowed me to actually think out loud and process my own thoughts. The hypno was really great for me, I found it really calming and actually allowing myself to let the thoughts in that scared me. I then found I could do some of these techniques myself when I was struggling. The self talk and some of the resources were also really good for me. I think I learned that I could feel vulnerable and that I could feel ok whilst feeling vulnerable. I feel that I have overcome some of my avoidance techniques and also I know I can come back if I need to which feels really good”
