RB Travel, based in Kettering, is a family coach company run by a husband and wife partnership who, collectively, have a wealth of experience in all aspects of the coaching industry. The husband, Roger Bull (who’s initials are where RB Travel gets its name), joined the coaching industry over 40 years ago as an apprentice mechanic in a family run business, continuing to gain experience and promotio

n to fleet engineer. The local company he worked for was later sold to a larger concern which eventually decided to sell off various sections, one of which Roger bought in 1992 and re-named as RB Travel. The business has continued to grow to its present form as a major local company offering a wide variety of services to a diverse range of customers, incorporating Ta**us Holidays run by Pauline Bull. Roger’s wife Pauline has over 20 years experience as an accomplished and well respected tour guide/manager and tour organizer, with a wealth of knowledge of coach touring in both the UK and Europe. RB Travel now offer a wide range of 30-70 seated coaches, offering everything to make for a comfortable journey, including tabled vehicles for executive travel.

Jane was a regular and loyal customer of ours, coming with us on our day trips and holidays for many years.

Jane always had a smile, and always lovely to chat to.

RB Travel. Driver CPC Development Course.

This week whilst the schools were off, we took the opportunity in hosting another periodic CPC development course for our drivers. The course content was Dealing with Emergencies & Vehicle Evacuation. This involved practical exercises and role play away from the classroom environment to make it unique and specific to our business needs. We also invited drivers from other local operators to be involved and it was great to see that everyone came together and threw themselves into the exercises 100%. Despite the seriousness of the course content, our tutor ensured that plenty of fun & laughter was had, whilst at the same time ensuring learning took place. Thank you to everyone involved in making it a fabulous & worthwhile day. #teamwork #rbtravel #driversCPC

Earlier in the week, we held another periodic CPC Training course for our drivers. We had the pleasure of welcoming other drivers from other local coach operators to join us which was great for us to be able to come together and work together. We made use of our PSVAR vehicle for disability awareness as well as other topics we covered ensuring that classroom theory was mixed with practical training; always a great way to aid development. It was a great day and the weather held out. Thanks to everyone for participating.

Battersea Power Station Day Excursion. 29th May 2024.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of transporting 73 Huntingdon Squadron ATC to Peterborough for the Beds & Cambs Wing Northern Sector to celebrate the 83rd Anniversary since the formation of the Air Training Corps (ATC). In attendance was in total around 150 ATC Cadets and staff, including Mayor & Mayoress of Peterborough.
