Huge congratulations to our Asia & Australasia DMC partner Realm who were awarded "Best Destination Management Company" last night in London at the micebook awards.

Their submission told the story of a team who never gave up during our most challenging times, a team who came together united to create an exciting new brand and a team who through their passion for the industry have in the last three years achieved incredible growth.

CEO Selina Sinclair also said, "To win such an award amongst such esteemed global DMC companies has left us very grateful and proud.

It's day 2 of The Meetings Show in London!

We've been having a fabulous networking show, making new contacts and catching up with clients and industry friends.

After IMEX our VIP hosted buyer group and I travelled to Bavaria with our ace DMC parter DAPP AG EVENTS to discover more about buzzing Munich and Germany's lesser known events gem that is the Alpine region.

We stayed at the wonderful Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt on the shores of Lake Tegernsee and sampled Alpine culture and cuisine before heading to Munich. Here we checked out some cool event spaces and stayed at the funky AMERON München Motorworld. We enjoyed an extensive tour of the impressive Motorworld, visited the world-famous Staatliches Hofbräuhaus and sampled the best of Bavarian cuisine.

DAPP Events are based in Munich, creating sustainable experiences and delivering exceptional results by sourcing the most imaginative solutions. The friendly team headed by owner Michael Dapp offers a reliable high-standard service to ensure your clients are left inspired and energised.

We are thrilled to be announced as a finalist in the Best Representation Company category at the micebook awards 2024!

At DMC Advantage we only represent the best boutique, mostly owner-managed DMCs as this is where we find the most creativity, responsiveness and desire to exceed our clients' expectations. As we approach our 10th birthday, our passion for connecting our clients with our partners and working together to create successful events is stronger than ever.

Simon and I have been enjoying a busy IMEX Frankfurt with our fab hosted buyer group. We've caught up with lots of clients, friends and our DMC partners who are exhibiting.
Thanks to our German DMC partner DAPP EVENTS we hosted a dinner last night at Lorsbacher Thal where we got to sample schnitzel and apple wine before a restful night at the wonderfully stylish Ruby Louise Hotel.
After the show today Dapp Events and I are travelling with our group to beautiful Bavaria to discover more about this lesser known events gem.

This week we've had the pleasure of visiting some of our fab clients with Olof Olsson from our Scandinavia DMC BDP Next and Christa Rosengren from Strawberry Hotels.

There's been a lot of updates to share, including the new BDPNext office opening in Oslo to help with the growing demand for events of all sizes we are seeing for this beautiful region.

Last night we hosted a nordic-inspired dinner at the exclusive Studio Frantzen on the Harrods rooftop and we end our week with a day of London appointments.

We're coming to the end of a fun week visiting some fabulous clients with Sandra from our Icelandic partner Sena.

Iceland is a country that never disappoints with hot springs, glaciers, live volcanoes, black sand beaches, cool hotels, friendly locals and so much more, all adding up to create a bucket-list incentive destination.

Simon has arrived in the beautiful events city of Budapest with a VIP client group, co-hosting with our ace DMC partner Microcosmos and the brand new Hard Rock Hotel Budapest.

Microcosmos, proud five-time winners of Best Incoming Agency at the Best of Budapest & Hungary Awards, have created a fun-packed programme which will take in some of the city’s best event spaces, restaurants and activities. The friendly team offers high quality services matched with a creative flair for each and every event.

Our group are staying at the funky new Hard Rock Hotel Budapest, situated in the middle of the buzzing Broadway. Here they will experience Hard Rock Hotels’ signature style at Sessions, the upscale restaurant and at Constant Grind coffee shop and bar.

There's even a cool conference and seminar rooftop venue at Roxy, with its attached outdoor terrace being the perfect hotspot for cocktail hours.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for our DMC's and for The DMC Advantage in the 2023 M&IT Awards.
We were thrilled to see our partners Vista Events DMC Greece win Gold and Factor 3 Events Spain win Silver in the Best DMC category, with Alpine Sterling DMC Malta also making the finalist list.
We were so pleased to win joint Silver in the new category of Best UK Representation Company along with Amplified Hotels - it means a lot! Congratulations to Destinations Unlimited for winning Gold and to all the other finalists.
It was an amazing evening catching up with so many of our industry friends and great to spend time with Rena (Vista Events) Sam (Factor 3 Events) and Eslam (Pure Arabia Incentives, Conferences & Events LLC).

We've had a busy week meeting wonderful clients with Eslam from Pure Arabia Incentives, Conferences & Events LLC our DMC partner for Dubai, UAE & Oman.
After a fun trip up North we hosted an evening of sumptuous Middle Eastern dining at London's Kenza restaurant.
Last night we attended the MPI UK&I Mix 'n' Mingle event at the Sabine Rooftop Bar at Leonardo Royal St Pauls which was so much fun.
Tonight we'll be at the M&IT Awards where we are so honoured to have three of our DMC partners as finalists in the best DMC category - Alpine Sterling DMC Malta, Factor 3 Events Spain and Vista Events DMC Greece .
We're also in the running for Best UK Representation.
Come and say hello to the DMCA team as well as Eslam, Sam from Factor 3 and Rena from Vista Events. We're looking forward to a fun night catching up with old friends and making new ones, good luck to all the finalists and we'll see you on the dancefloor!

We are thrilled to announce that Cathy Joyce is joining The DMC Advantage as Sales Director, starting next week. Our small team is all about service and as we grow with quality new DMC signings we believe Cathy will help ensure we continue to stand out for our knowledge, speed of response, and of course the best DMC partners in the business. Her proven track record of going the extra mile to ensure the best service to clients matches our own ideals: she’ll be a fabulous addition.

Cathy's impressive career brings a wealth of experience from renowned hotels and brands across Ireland, the UK, Australia, and the Middle East including Ritz-Carlton, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Melia Hotels International, and Hyatt Hotels International. She also currently holds the position of President at Meeting Professionals International, UK & Ireland Chapter highlighting her leadership and dedication to the industry.

Simon Burleigh travelled to Malta straight after The Meetings Show with a VIP client group to discover all the incredible options available to groups of all sizes on the beautiful islands of Malta & Gozo.

Our group were treated to a fun packed itinerary courtesy of our M&IT Awards 2023 shortlisted DMC partner Alpine Sterling DMC and luxurious accommodation at Corinthia Hotel St. George's Bay.

They experienced travel by tuk-tuk, speedboat, vintage bus and luxury yacht, enjoyed sumptuous Maltese cuisine and explored the best venues and event spaces on the islands.
Thanks to Alpine Sterling and the teams at Visit Malta and Corinthia Hotels for such a wonderful few days.

Simon is co-hosting an incredible VIP client trip to Mauritius in conjunction with our partner DMC Mautourco and our friends at Vine Tree Connections and Sunlife Mauritius Resorts.
Our group has experienced a thrilling ground program courtesy of Mautourco including coastal exploration by boat, discovering the beautiful interior by quad bike and zipline and even taking a sampling tour of a cane sugar rum distillery.
The five Sunlife Resorts are a fab mixture of styles and all our hosts have been displaying the famed Mauritian generous and friendly welcome and hospitality.
