Good morning to you all.
I'm very excited to announce that Becky's Bespoke Travel is now open for business.
For anyone new to my page, a little bit about me...I've been in travel for 34 years now and it really is my passion.
⛱ Being independent, I can sell what's best for YOU not for the company and this is something I strongly believe in.
🛳 I can book all types of travel, from city breaks, cruising, family holidays, long haul tailormade trips and anything in between.
✈️My new venture is run as my own business, however I also have the backing of the UK's largest independent agent-Hays Travel and the all important ABTA protection.
🏜 We have the support of a small and UK based head office/admin team who are all experienced in travel.
📞You'll still be dealing me with directly and I'll always aim to reply within the same working day wherever possible. My hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm and Sat 9am-4pm. Evening calls are also possible by prior arrangement.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION-PLEASE READ**
Now that I've let all my customers with forward bookings know, I can officially announce that today is my last day working with Broadway Travel. It's been a fast moving and interesting 17 years and I've learned so much but it's time for a change! I can assure you all this was not a decision taken lightly.
The good news is that I am staying in travel and will be able to take new bookings very soon, hopefully within the next 10 days and I'll update you all with new contact details and more information as soon as possible.
I'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all my customers, many who've been with me since I first started at Broadway (and even before!) Your support is incredible and always blows me away, the kind messages and memories I've received over the past few days have made me very emotional. It's a privilege to now be booking the children and grandchildren of long time customers!
Here's looking forward to a new adventure together :)

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
For those of you who don't know, I'm celebrating a special birthday in May. I'm going to be spending most of the month with the people closest to me 💗 and holidaying (of course!) Between 29th April and 3rd June I'll only have 7 available days for work, and because of this I've decided to only take on new enquiries for travel in May and June at this time to help manage my workload. I hope you understand and thanks for bearing with me. I'm massively grateful for your support always :)

If you need a new passport, you should apply for one now, as application fees are set to rise by around 7% on Thursday 11 April.

I'm now back from a great twin centre holiday to Dubai and Maldives, which I think is a perfect combination. We flew with Etihad via Abu Dhabi in both directions and really couldn't fault them. In Dubai we stayed at Riu Dubai, an almost 800 room hotel directly on the beach at Deira Islands close to the airport and Bur Dubai. Taxis very reasonable for getting around. Weather first week of March was mid 20's in Dubai (some cloud and few spots of rain on 1 day) and in Maldives was 32 every day and the slight and occasional cloud cover was welcome! In Maldives we stayed at Malahini Kuda Bandos, a very small island (we could walk around it in 6 mins) just 15 mins speedboat from Male and was a great introduction to the Maldives (and the sunrise beach pool villa was simply amazing!) Fantastic spa here too. Both hotels although very different from each other were great value for money. Maldives was somewhere we'd wanted to go for a very long time and it didn't disappoint, it really is paradise!! Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. Just a reminder that after an extremely busy Jan and Feb, I'm taking some time off beginning this Sat 2nd March and will return to work on Tues 12th March. I'm so excited to be going back to Dubai and then onto a totally new destination for me which has been on my bucket list forever! I look forward to hearing your guesses as to where that may be, but will post a picture when I get there!! 🏖🚤🏊‍♀️☀️

Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas. Anyone dreaming of being on a white sand beach and looking for total relaxation and some winter sun? I've got just the thing...Special one off date 18th Feb, 6 nights from Gatwick to this beautiful hotel in Cape Verde. From £1049 per person on all inclusive basis. VERY limited seats available. As I set my out of office for the last time in 2022 (back to work on 3rd Jan) I just want to say a HUGE thanks to my customers for continuing to support me and my business. Every single booking whether it be a UK break or a round the world trip is equally important in my eyes, and you'll receive the same level of care as I know just how much that holiday means to you!
For me it's been a fab year of travel, Egypt, Mexico, Valencia & Barcelona, Ibiza, 3 cruises with Virgin Voyages, Celebrity and MSC, Morocco, Gambia and now Tenerife as well as a few UK breaks thrown in for good measure. Only 1 of these was slightly disrupted so if you're still nervous about travelling since Covid, please don't be as I'll be there to help from start to finish. Looking forward to hearing your plans for 2023 and beyond. Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year all :)

Gambia day 5.
Well what a way to end the trip! A tour and beautiful dinner at the stunning adults only Ngala Lodge Hotel. Reminds me very much of some of the boutique hotels in Funchal. Personalised rooms and service. Lots of quirky art and individually designed rooms. A very special property!

Gambia day 4.
Last night we viewed 2 much more modern hotels called African Princess(accepts 12+) and Tamala Beach(accepts 16+) both have the option of swim up rooms. Tamala is all inclusive basis and has dj's and an Ibiza type vibe. We had a beautiful meal there at the beachfront restaurant.
This morning we went to Katchikally crocodile pool where you can touch the crocodiles of you're brave enough! Then onto 2 sister hotels Ocean Bay and Sunbeach Hotel for tours. This afternoon I managed a quick swim in our hotel pool-bliss as the temps are mid 30's!

Gambia day 3.
Last night we viewed a couple of hotels then had a lovely meal at a Mexican restaurant called El Sol on the main 'strip'. This morning we drove inland for about an hour along the river to a beautiful retreat called Mandina Lodges. This small hotel is adult only and has only 9 lodges (most on the riverfront) no WiFi here so ideal for chilled out relaxation, birdwatching, canoes on the river, nature walks etc. Ideal for 3/4 days when combined with a beach hotel.

Gambia day1/2.
Well I won't lie it was a culture shock on arrival (room pretty basic, no WiFi, water on and off) but I'm realising that if you look beyond those minor inconveniences this is a beautiful and very interesting place to be! The people are so welcoming and they have nothing but are SO generous. We're staying at 3* graded Kombo Beach hotel which has one of the best beach locations and is in a quiet area. Saw a traditional drumming/dancing show last night. This morning we did an excursion called cooking with Ida which was honestly the best I've ever done! It was a cooking class but you dressed like a local, went to the local market to get your ingredients, then went back to Ida's house where you helped to prepare a lunch, then sat together and ate it. We had mackerel and chicken with rice, various veg and homemade sauces. It was delicious! Pictures added of the standard room at Kombo Beach (upgrades available) beachfront, and the excursion. More to come tomorrow (WiFi permitting 😉)

Just back from a great few days in Agadir, Morocco with my family so wanted to share some information and pictures with you all.
🌴3.5-4hr flight from UK. approx 35 mins transfer time to hotels. no time difference in summer(plus 1hr in winter)
🌞 Weather was beautiful, temps in the daytime 32-36 degrees, slightly cooler and very comfortable in the evenings.
🛌 Stayed at 4* Iberostar Founty Beach Hotel, not a huge hotel so made it friendly. Spa and indoor pool. Gym. Great entertainment team, food and service excellent. Main buffet and decent pool bar daytime restaurant which also does great afternoon snacks (freshly made doghnuts are a must😋) and a Moroccan a la carte included once per stay, you just need to book with reception.
👩‍👩‍👧‍👧Families well catered for with clubs, activities and family/connecting rooms for up to 5 people.
⛱️ beautiful beach just across the promenade, access via a secure gate from the hotel and iberostar have their own roped off section with sunbeds and shades. Camel rides, local art/wares sellers are there but not pushy at all. plenty of excursions bookable at the hotel or locally.
💰Such great value for money, inexpensive to get there and cheap once there!
Please just ask if you'd like a quote or have questions, I'd say 4 to 10 days is perfect depending on how much you want to do whilst there and it's an ideal alternative to Canaries for some autumn/winter/spring sun!

Last week, our family came back from another great short holiday organised by Becky. From the start she made sure that our needs are met, at a reasonable cost. When we had an issue with the Paris Pass, she promptly spoke to the correct team to get it solved so that out holiday isn't impacted. This note is to appreciate Becky's customer care. This is not the first time she booked holidays for us and surely won't be the last.

Woweee!! What a fantastic 7 night cruise I've had on Virgin Voyages Valiant lady from Barcelona around the Med last week. Ports of call were Toulon, Marina Di Carrera, Ajaccio, Cagliari and Ibiza.
So many things that set Virgin apart from the rest in terms of cruising...
Adults only
WiFi and tips all included
Many soft drinks included
All dining is a la carte and ordered to be served at your table, no buffet in sight! The food was exceptional quality and beautifully presented. 20 different eateries all included, all bookable with ease via the app.
Modern cabins, those with balconies have the most wonderful hammock to relax in!
A VERY inclusive cruise experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Service was top notch start to finish.
Excellent entertainment onboard and overnight stop in Ibiza to allow you to experience local nightlife.
Definitely a cruise for people who haven't tried cruising yet as it may be too 'formal', 'boring' or 'stuffy'
There are some incredible offers available on this ship including free flights from UK to Barcelona until the end of July, meaning you can cruise from just over £1000 per person for everything listed above. Hi everyone. Just giving advance warning that I'll soon be away on holiday for a couple of weeks. My last working day will be Sat 21st May finishing at 1pm, and I'll be back to work on Tues 7th June from 10am. This trip will be a mixture of a family visit then a week's cruise on the beautiful (adult only) Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady, so excited! 😍

Well that was the busiest 24 hours of my year so far! Thanks so much for your bookings which included a group of 14 to Fuerteventura next Easter, multicentre holidays to Thailand and Canada and a last minute trip to Portugal. Its great that confidence in travel is back ✈️🌏

Last resort of the trip, Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres and TRS Coral.
🌴Approx 30 mins transfer time from Cancun airport.
🌴Service outstanding throughout the resort.
🥞 Food incredible, loads of options to choose from.
🏖️ WHAT a beach!!
👶 Great family facilities in the Grand Palladium and Family Selection, as well as the adult only TRS Coral which is a member of the leading hotels of the world
🛌 Beautiful modern rooms, resort is only 3 years old

More pictures from Grand Palladium Resort and Spa Riviera Maya, including beautiful gardens in a jungle like setting and the spa/fitness centre. If you love wildlife you'll really enjoy it here. The 3 hotels (White Sands, Colonial and Kantenah) all share facilities and TRS guests also have some other exclusive areas but can use all facilities throughout the wider resort.
Approx 90 mins coach transfer from Cancun airport.

Food and entertainment at Grand Palladium Resort, Riviera Maya and TRS Yucatan.
🍲 You will honestly be spoilt for choice between room service, buffet and the many a la carte options all included. Pictures here are just a tiny selection! Reservations can be made through your butler (if staying in TRS) or through the app/concierge.
💃 Chic cabaret is a 7 course fine dining meal and show for adults that lasts around 3 hours and cannot be missed. Unbelievably good! it's chargeable at $35 for guests of TRS and $135 for Grand Palladium guests. Absolutely fantastic value for money. it's on a few times per week depending on hotel occupancy and is bookable on arrival.

Fantastic first few days in Mexico.
1st stop was Grand Palladium White Sands.
Huge junior suite rooms, very tropical setting with loads of greenery and lakes.
They also have gorgeous romance villas with outdoor shower and hammock on the balcony.
Food is top quality-so many a la carte options to choose from within the resort and all included as standard!
