Hi lovely swimmers

Meet for an informal swim at Goodrington North Sands (swimming at your own risk) before enjoying an evening of inspirational talks, all with a swimming and environmental theme.

I will be joined by three guest speakers, chatting about everything from swimming adventures, to the environment. These will include representatives from the Wave Project and Wild Planet Trust (talking about seagrass in the Bay) as well as artist and swimming guru Kari Furre.

Price £20 per person, including a delicious bowl of chowder, with all profits going to Torbay Communities.

6.30pm - optional swim at Goodrington Sands - Cantina end (at your own risk).

A legendary swim across the Straight of Messina, between the island of Sicily and the Italian mainland. I love a swim with a legend attached to it and the Straight of Messina has a great one that inspired the myth of Scilla and Cariddi. These two terrible sea monsters are said to be responsible for....
