Motor yachts outsell sailing yachts by far on the brokerage market, some say the ratio is 85/15. My team and I love promoting BOTH, but sailing yachts are a lot more difficult to film than motor yachts!

It’s not unusual to find significant price differences between (apparently) identical yachts in Europe and in the United States.
Whilst they may appear the same in the outside, they are actually quite different. Different wiring system, different layout, different interior design…and often US dealers will order yachts for the U.S. market with a high number of extra accessories.

Sometimes viewers send me messages telling me that Gross Tonnage relates to the weight of the yacht, not the volume.
If they googled the term they’d quickly discover that they are wrong…but who knows how the GT Volume is calculated?

There’s more to landing a helicopter on a superyacht than meets the eye. 🚁🚁🚁
If the yacht is available for charter, and the paying guests want to arrive by helicopter, the deck itself needs to be certified and the crew need to be trained and equipped.
Always check with your charter broker if landing on board is an option or not!
