The Thatcher’s Arms boasts one of the finest views in North Essex.

Serving food and beer since the mid-19th Century, the pub specialises in traditional British gastro pub cuisine with worldwide influenced dishes. Two well stocked bars, wood burning stoves and a jumble of cosy and comfortable rooms. Oak beams throughout the pub, with a friendly chatty atmosphere.

Arger Fen & Spouse's Vale Nature Reserve with its swathes of bluebells and wild garlic Arger Fen is a great place for walk especially in the spring.🪻
