"Luluka, the most celebrated Leopard from Maasai Mara had a litter of two in the month of November 2022. On the last day of our trip, we got the news that Luluka was moving her cubs. We waited for five hours for her to bring her cubs out. She did not disappoint. She gave the greatest show a photographer could imagine. Unfortunately, she lost her litter. This shows how difficult it is to survive in nature. Hopefully Luluka has a successful motherhood next time around."

COVID-19 HM Government Travel Restriction Update –
The UK Transport Secretary confirmed that the remaining arrival testing requirements for fully vaccinated travellers to England will be removed from 04:00 on Friday 11 February. This means customers that are recognised as fully vaccinated, arriving after this date, will no longer need to do a Day 0-2 lateral flow test on arrival and will just need to complete a UK Passenger Locator Form.

This is alongside several other changes to requirements, including easing of measures for arriving customers who do not qualify as fully vaccinated, who will no longer need to self-isolate or take a Day 8 PCR from 11 February – just a Day 2 PCR.

The removal of all testing for vaccinated passengers is the final step in moving towards frictionless air travel, allowing passengers to reconnect with loved ones and business colleagues. It restores customer confidence and demand will be boosted in a critical booking window for the travel industry.

Canada is now open and welcoming travellers again and at award-winning Air Canada their proud to offer more non-stop flights from the UK to Canada than any other airline.

En route from London, travellers will depart from Heathrow’s latest addition, Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal featuring their very own Maple Leaf Lounge. Travellers shall enjoy non-stop year-round service to Calgary, Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver with services to Halifax resuming next spring 2022.

Lateral flow tests are much cheaper and quicker than PCR tests and passengers will now be able to take a photo of their test and send it to prove they are negative.

South Africa is back!
We’re ready to welcome customers back to the destinations that are important to them and are delighted to let you know that we’re expanding our portfolio of flights to South Africa, following the country’s removal from the Red List.

From 8 November, flights from London Heathrow to Johannesburg will increase from three times a week to a daily service and the relaunch of our flights to Cape Town are being brought forward with flights three times weekly from 17 December.

As South Africa’s capital city, not only does Johannesburg offer a gateway to some of the best safaris in the world, but its warm climate provides the perfect escape for Brits seeking some winter sun.

Cape Town is famed for its breath-taking scenery and its world-famous wine region. Table Mountain is part of the fabric of the city and the views across the city and beyond from the 500 million-year-old monolith simply can’t be bettered.

Both services will operate on our Boeing 787-9 aircraft boasting 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats. Flights will be on sale from 17 October 2021.
