The past 2 winters Mr Evo has been fishing various waters run by Hayes fisheries, the months of December January and February last year Mr Evo had over 120 different 20lb plus fish and a few thirties up to 39lb 12oz, the best winters fishing I’ve ever had in my life fishing day time only Monday to Fridays applying 8 to 12 kilos of bait per day, we were catching fish the day before the lake froze and the day after it thawed, the fish were constantly on the move and looking for food, good old Troy and Troy par pellets done the business, this winter just passed has also been a good winter we have caught many fish from various waters including several thirties up to 36lbs dozens of 20’s up to 28lbs loads of mid to upper doubles and one fish of 44lbs 6oz, below are just a fraction of some of the fish we have caught this passed winter, a big thumbs up to Hayes fisheries can’t wait to get on the banks again, Regards Mr. Evo.

Dissolvable boilies

Evo baits has been manufacturing dissolvable boilies for many years selling them to the general public for 15 years and mr evo was using them in his personal armoury for a few years before that. They have been manufactured exactly the same using the same materials and the same process for approximately 18 years, they are and do reflect an exact identification of the solid boilie that they mimic. They have proven to have been a phenomenal edge on all waters from the easiest to the hardest. It appears the edge has got out with 2 companies recently launching a campaign on their take of a dissolvable boilie of which they are bringing to market in spring. Evo baits has notified both companies that they are making misquotes and distortion of the truth in relation of the history of the dissolvable boilie. We informed outlaw pro that mark hughes was incorrect in the statements he makes in his YouTube video, it has now been partially amended and as to the best of our knowledge evo baits were the first company in this country to sell dissolvable boilies on a commercial basis to the general public that actually gave you an edge and caught fish. Various people are now making a multitude of claims and i questioned them.

1. If you had knowledge of the dissolvable boilie over 20 years ago why did you not bring it to market, probably because it was a soft boiled boilie that everyone was using at that time therefore you did not have a market.

2. If europe were successful in having a dissolvable boilie so many years ago then i do not understand why one of the fame seekers of the sport didn’t have them imported into the country. 14 years ago evo baits had the facilities to import one ton of boilies from europe door to door at a cost of 80 pounds sterling that is a costing of 8 pence per kilo surely such a dynamic bait of its days could absorb an 8 pence additional costing, it makes you wonder how all the other companies imported and exported if it wasn’t financially visable to do so.

3. If you had so much knowledge so many years ago about the dissolvable boilie why would you even consider importing another mans version you would create your own surely.

It’s sad that we are all involved in a sport that has so many distortions of the truth associated to it many of the competitive matches are won with people using worm maggots and sweetcorn none of these are generally spoken about as no company can capitalise upon them for their own financial gain so it is very often quoted it was won on boilies whoever’s rather than the bunch worms it was actually caught on etc.
If you have a good product it speaks for you, you do not have to lie.

We list our comments and nutrabaits return comments regarding the information exchanged relating to their YouTube video of their dissolvable boilies as they appear to have took some offence of us notifying them they are not the first to perfect the dissolvable boilie we were trying to be polite in making them aware of information they may not have had knowledge of.

Evo Baits perfected the dissolvable boilie many, many years ago and has been selling them to the general public for 15 years and Steve Eves used them within his personal armoury for many years before selling them to the general public. Steve managed to incorporate a factor within the dissolvable boilie unique to Evo Baits which maintains their breakdown boilies to have a unique edge still over their competitors. So you are not leading, you are playing catch-up like Rob Hughes. Personal message for Nutrabaits delete my comments as many times as you wish that is your prerogative however by doing so you further increase our ammunition in the pursuit to inform the general public of the truth relating to the history of the dissolvable boilie which varies vastly from your account.

Sorry but we think it’s sad that you hope to try and gain some form of promotion / recognition by repeatedly posting on our site.
We wish you well in your pursuit of recognition but you’re looking in the wrong place by continually posting on other bait company pages. You will find soluble baits have been in production for well over 15 years by many companies across Europe. Including several of our current European team members, who home rolled them for personal use and using in competitions dating back well over 25 years.
We make no claim to be the first as stated in all our advertising.
We had a range called Solubals back in the late 1990’s which sold across the U.K. and worldwide in our stockists, these being soluble baits. Our latest range being a vastly improved version to match our bait ranges in both base mix and soluble liquid attraction.

I’m not certain who you are because you haven’t left your name but thank you for your response i am not clear exactly what it is you are trying to say? But i will answer to the best of my understanding. We had to keep on reposting our comments onto your site as you kept on deleting them it appears they did not serve in your best interest, my customers also tell me they informed you they had been using Evo baits dissolvable boilies for many years some as far back as 15 years, you chose also to delete their comments, again, it did not serve or support your version of the dissolvable boilie, we feel you are suppressing the truth and distorting the facts relating to the history of the dissolvable boilie. You suggest i am using your site for promotion are you having a laugh or a mental breakdown I don’t promote edges i have had for twenty years and more, there is more chance of me burying it than promoting it and as for you suggesting i am after recognition? I get that every time a customer reorders, every time they tell me of their great captures, and every time guys return from competitive competition fishing here in england and abroad and doing very well. YES they have been using them abroad for many years, my recognition might not be to the level you try and pursue but i am not starring in a video trying to sell mine and my customers edges. We try to only sell bait to anglers and we all keep quiet relating to our edges so to be crystal clear to you i am not after recognition and if you haven’t been a customer of Evo baits in the past you are unlikely to be a customer in the future, you do not maintain an edge when it is given to everyone, i try and serve my customers honourably primarily we make bait to catch fish and not just to make money. You state dissolvable baits have been used for 20 years or so in Europe, is that supposed to diminish my claim or maybe enhance yours NO, i cant comment on what they may have done in Europe i am aware of gelatine and water based boilies needing ten days to air dry being manufactured in europe these dont constitute a good grade dissolvable boilie and it would have no place within the evo baits armoury and if they were marketable one of the fame seeking bait companies would have imported them from europe 20 years ago and i suggest your guys hand rolled attempts were like everyone else’s of the time a soft part boiled boilie again not marketable everyone else was doing it 40 years ago, a salmon pellet is a dissolvable bait and they have been out longer than i can remember maybe that is what you are getting confused with?. Carry on making claims if you like and i wish you the best in your pursuit of developing your version of a dissolvable boilie and thats the only claim you can make, your version, you are not the first you haven’t created the best and all others haven’t failed allowing you to suggest your the first to perfect it NO because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist we don’t all go around persuing fame. Maintaining an edge to us has a greater value than money. I feel confident your version will be inferior to ours and i base this thought not on what you have said but what you haven’t said, i question are you bringing out a cold pressed pellet which will be round in shape if so not much new about that and i restate it will be inferior to ours of which i will give an in depth explanation when you and Rob Hughes have brought yours to market until that time i hold my cards close to my chest. I hope that yours and everyone else’s dissolvable boilie is superior to ours as i look forward to doing a comparison and giving an honest feedback. Our dissolvable boilies have been sold under the name par pellet they are listed on our face page with big captures back in 2012 have a look for yourself, we have never marketed them as a dissolvable boilie of which they are we have wanted to keep our competitors and parasites at bay, as previously said wish you all the best nothing personal it’s only fishing but i have had a big contribution into this sport more than you will probably ever know and it kind of now pi**es me off after 47 years of carp fishing listening to people trying to make claims and take credit for things they have no entitled rights to do so. Delete this message as many times as you wish but i will now be transferring all the information between ourselves to the Evo face page i strongly suggest you should come to essex a bit more often and talk to some of the managers of the tackle shops who will verify everything i have said, all the best in your pursuit of perfection, regards Steve eves Evo baits
