Dirty Santa Awards 2024 - Best Decorated Bike
Winner - “Santa Claus(?)”

It’s the first of our two headline awards - Best Decorated Bike. Bike decorations are every bit as important as the outfits at Dirty Santa, and for our Best Decorated Bike award this year, the prize goes to this mysterious gentleman who entered the event simply under the name “Santa Claus” (could it be..?), and gave his bike the full reindeer treatment. There’s plenty of attention to detail to admire here, from the two tone fur for authenticity to the stumpy reindeer tail. Not to mention the commitment to picking bits of fur out of the spokes and chain for the next couple of months.

Congratulations Mr Claus (ahem), you’re a worthy winner. We’ll send you a little something from Lezyne as a prize, plus a free entry to an event of your choice in 2025 (which shouldn’t be a problem, since you have 364 days off coming up)…

Dirty Santa Awards 2024 - Dirtiest Santa
Joint Winners - Matthew Gumm & Alex Orton

What is Dirty Santa all about, if not an absolute commitment to ruining some perfectly good Xmas fancy dress to point that makes you think, “Well, that’s just wrong”? That’s why we have a Dirtiest Santa award, and this year, we couldn’t separate Matthew Gumm and Alex Orton for their dedication to bringing as much of the Surrey Hills back with them on their outfits as they could, so we’re awarding them as joint winners! We’ll send you both a free entry to an event of your choice with us in 2025 as a prize!

Well done guys, we’re all very proud of you, as we’re sure are your families! We’re just hoping that neither of those outfits were rentals, because you’re not seeing your deposit again on those…

Winner - Ali Calvert

If you’ve ever pondered the question “how do I maintain my sleek, gravel racer look while also fitting right in with the Dirty Santa vibe?”, then our Most Aero Santa award winner Ali Calvert has the answer for you. We didn’t even know that Santa skin suits were even a thing - Rapha are clearly missing a trick! Best of all though, a quick glance at the ride times reveals that Ali had clearly prioritised ‘looking fast’ way more highly than ‘going fast’, which is about the most Dirty Santa spirit-of-the-event thing we can think of!��Congratulations Ali, you’ve joined our list of Dirty Santa award winners for 2024. As a prize, we’ll send you a free entry for an event of your choice with us in 2025!

The Dirty Santa MTB Awards 2024 - Best Ensemble

It's that time again as we announce our award winners from this year's Dirty Santa MTB! And the first award this year for Best Ensemble or Group, goes to the Hannam family for their excellent Three Kings (or Wise Men) outfits - complete with star which (by the look of it) nearly lasted for the whole ride!

We particularly liked this family group effort because, well they all look great, and because we really haven't see that many Wise Men at the event over the years (interpret that how you will)!

So well done to the Hannams - you win a family entry to a Trail Break event of your choice in 2025! We'll be in touch to arrange that with you.

What an amazing day!!
It was to see so many Christmas costumes and riders getting into the spirit of Dirty Santa. Some obviously gathering more dirt than others ! 💦

After week of doom and gloom about the weather, our assessment of the conditions on the day were as predicted and proved good. Dirty Santa lived up to its name and hundreds of jolly Santas flew and splashed their way around the course.💨 🎅 🌧️ 🧑‍🎄
