Amazing what you can discover on holiday in Deal! The triple helix staircase only open a few days a year is located in Dover and is called "The Grand Shaft" . The staircase was built as a means of communication between the barracks on Western Heights and the town. Well worth a look actually the whole area is fascinating and only a 10 minute drive from Holmwood.

Try something new! Only 10 minutes drive from Holmwood a new restaurant has opened "Updown". A beautiful setting with amazing locally sourced produce cooked over wood in an outdoor kitchen. We had a great time! Wishing it every success with the Barn conversion.

Adventure golf has come to Deal - Roman landings in Walmer. Amazing new addition to Deal a miniature golf course which is a blast. Super busy since it opened.
