Sadly, we have received a cancellation for October Half Term as our lovely guests cannot make it now.

We adore dogs coming to visit our house with
their humans and making memories with
them.

Last week we sadly bid farewell to our beloved
companion, Roxy 🐾🌈💔
We were lucky to have her for 13 wonderful years and she was loved by our whole extended family and enchanted everyone who met her; always the most loving and gentle girl.
She grew up visiting Southwold multiple times
a year and we shared so many wonderful
adventures with her - entering the dog classes
at the Lions Fair each year, running after our
children on their bikes, watching them fly kites
and play tennis at the courts, chasing rabbits
on the common(!), basking in the evening sun
at the Harbour Inn and of course her absolute favourite thing in the world - chasing her beloved stones on the beach while her tail never stopped wagging!

We were so fortunate to have been able to
take her to chase the stones one last time a
couple of weeks ago and she had the time of
her life!
Here are some of our wonderful memories of
times we shared with her in Southwold and we
look forward to being part of your memory
making with your dogs in the years to come.

And so the Summer season has come to a close ☀️🥂💞😌.
It has been a very busy time for us and we feel blessed to have to been able to host lots of families and friends at our family house since lockdown was lifted earlier in the year.
We appreciate more than ever the time spent with our own family and friends after so many months of being kept apart.
Our thanks go out to all our guests, old and new; thank you for looking after our house and we hope to welcome you again very soon.
We are fortunate to have a calendar full of visitors and hate to turn people away - please request sooner rather than later as half the Summer dates for next year are already booked!
Stay safe everyone, hope all your school and Uni children have a more ‘normal’ year and your businesses are able to flourish once again.

We were truly blessed with amazing weather last week during our stay at the house.
After so many months of lockdown preventing us from visiting, we were eager to get our hands into some DIY and sprucing up.
We’ve been so fortunate to have had back to back guests that we needed to book ourselves in too so we could do some jobs!
Our week was perfect - lots of things done - work never seems arduous when you’re in Southwold! We hope all our guests love the little updates as much as we do. 💞
More planned for later in the year when we can get in again! 😂

It’s a wish you were here kind of day here in Southwold 💞

We are now a month into the new season since lockdown was eased.
So lovely to hear how our guests are enjoying their breaks in this wonderful town.

We are looking forward to a very busy Summer - let’s hope with more days like this ☀️.
Even when rain is forecast we usually get a sunny gap during the day.

We hope all our past and future guests are well and looking forward to a brighter time ahead.
After many months of uncertainty and difficult times, we are so excited to be welcoming our first guests on 13th April and are looking forward to a very busy season ahead.
As always, your safety, comfort and peace of mind remain our top priority and our wonderful local team and partners, Alys and Laura’s Holiday House Help, are busy preparing the house for all your stays.
We pride ourselves in our 5* cleanliness rating and appreciate the effort that our team and guests put into following our strict guidelines.
As the UK eases itself out of lockdown we hope everyone enjoys that little bit of extra freedom and the opportunity to see their loved ones, even if it’s outside!
It just leaves us to wish you all a very happy Easter 🐣
