These are pine cones from a Sequoia tree or giant redwood and I was amazed when I looked closely The texture and patterns are exquisite. The tree is in Chatsworth house gardens .

Had a cuppa today with Kenny Brown and in his unit yard he keeps a puddle topped up with water for the Swallows and House Martins if you want see them have a walk around the back lane they are around most of the time dropping in for a drink or a bath

Walked the final stretch of the coastal walk from North Landing to Bempton. When you hear the word Gannet things spring to mind but these are the most beautiful birds that mate for life and return every year to the same nest when they meet it’s brilliant to see them greet each other. Spotted the odd Puffin as well.

Great day out walking the coastal path to North Landing on the East coast of Yorkshire. Lots of visitors Kittiwake, Razorbills and Guillemots the scenery wasn’t too shabby either.
