Harvest is over for another year and we’ve been preparing some of land ready for drilling next years crops 🌱

We are originally and mainly farmers and the holiday cottages are a diversification enterprise for us. We are currently self sufficient with the crops we grow as we make our own chicken feed for the free range chickens that we have and produce the eggs in the welcome hamper 🍳🧺

On Wednesday we travelled down to The Post in Newbury for the VisitEngland ROSE (Recognition Of Service Excellence) awards! 🏵️

This is something we are very proud to have been awarded, as only 100 accommodation providers, across all of the different types, in England receive the award 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We might have been quiet online but we’ve been busier than ever behind the scenes! 😀
It’s not long now until we’ll be opening the farm gates to welcome you all back for Pumpkin Season 2024! 🎃 Our PYO dates are 5th, 6th, 12th 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th-31st October (October Half-Term). As always, the Farm Displays & Pumpkin Shop will open Saturday 28th September and will be open every day until Halloween 👻

We’ve had lots of messages about Sunflower Picking 🌻 unfortunately, after sowing 3 times, the spring was just too cold and wet and we didn’t end up with the beautiful displays you are all used to seeing. Luckily the warmer weather has meant the fourth sowing is coming along beautifully and we will have a fantastic display for you to pick from alongside our pumpkins with some fabulous photo opportunities! 🎃

We can’t wait to see you all again and we look forward to sharing everything we will have to offer you over the coming weeks. Who knows, there may even be a few new surprises! 🎃🧡
