The Bar Team needs YOU!
The Bar at Clubfest is run and managed by volunteers, John Morgan is the Senior Bar Marshal and is the Licensee responsible for the day to day management of the Bar. Nick Haynes is the Bar Marshal and assists John with the management of the Bar.
There is already an established team of volunteers in the Bar Team from all over the UK, as well as working in the bar the Team have a great deal of fun and enjoyment along the way. As Clubfest grows and the attendees increase, we are looking to increase the size of the Bar Team and are recruiting willing volunteers to join the team. You don’t have to have experience of working behind a bar as we will provide training, but if you have that experience it will be helpful.

Other volunteering opportunities exist and will be published by the Events Committee in due course, there may be other opportunities for you to volunteer if the Bar is not for you.

Anglia Region AGM and Rally

Please note the rally will now be available from Thursday 17th October to Sunday 20th October. You can book for 2-3 nights. The AGM for the Anglia Region will take place on Sunday 20th. This rally is being organised by Suffolk Centre bookable via the North Essex Website

There are a number of Centres across the UK and Ireland. Each aims to provide local benefits to members living within a particular area, including organising fun rallies for local members as well as other events throughout the year.
Centres are run by voluntary committee members, who are elected at the Annual General Meetings (AGMs). To attend and vote at a Centre AGM, Club members must be a registered member of that Centre.
It's free to join your local Centre, and you can get involved as little or as much as you like.

Event 32
5th-7th July – Grease Is The Word
Brokhowse, Weeley
Join us to celebrate Grease the musical. Ladies get your pink ladies jackets and guys get your black leather jackets out (optional). Sing and dance to the classic Grease songs ‘Your the one that I want’ ‘Sandy’ ‘Summer Nights’ ‘Greased Lightning’ etc We will be showing the movie while we sing and dance to the songs. American style hot dogs will be served.
Event 34H – South Essex Invite
14th-19th July Sunshine in Thorpe-Le-Soken
Grange Farm, Thorpe-Le-Soken
Holiday Rally at Thorpe-Le-Soken, where we are hoping for a lot of Sunshine. Site has EHU, toilet/shower block. Ideal for visits to Clacton, Walton-On-The-Naze, or Colchester. Bus stop just outside of site. Some pre organised trips, using public transport, with time to do as you please too, when you can hopefully enjoy the sunshine and not get Soken Wet.

18th-22nd July – Birch Madness
Birch Park, Colchester
Join us for quizzes, Chinese Auction, and cream tea in the countryside. Possibility of a visit to Colchester Zoo, plus Tiptree and Colchester nearby.

Borowaters, Southminster
Fishing competition on Saturday. Relaxation in the pre-booked sunshine for those not drowning worms. Communal Barbeque weather permitting.

3rd-17th August – Going Dutch
Camping Heumans Bos, Holland
The site is situated beside miles of beautiful woods, criss-crossed by cycle paths, in a tranquil setting. The restaurant, which offers a wide menu, also comprises a newly constructed terrace, plus comfortable bar and snack bar. At the recreation centre you will find several playgrounds, an outdoor swimming pool, a jeu des boules court, bicycle and go-kart rental, table tennis tables, a tennis court and outdoor fitness equipment. Programme to be finalised nearer the time.

9th-12th August – It’s a Mystery
Clare Priory, Clare
Come and solve the mystery using clues and other fun activities on offer over the weekend. Feel free to dress for a party on Saturday night. Masquerade Masks will be supplied.

22nd-26th August – Chairlady’s Charity Event
Hook Farm, Mundon
Fun Filled Charity Weekend. Help us in raising funds for Chairlady’s Charity Little Lifts. Saturday Fete with possible inflatables, ice cream van, tombola, cake stalls, etc. Committee will be in the stocks for you to soak for a fee. Evening entertainment during the weekend. Driving experience for the Children on Sunday.

Mick and I are now marshals for E49 Rockingham Farm, Layer Marney. 27th to 29th September. This is a new venue, with a woodland trail, communal BBQ and social. We look forward to seeing you there, online booking is now available. Sunday 29th is also close of committee nominations, if you would like any information on joining committee please do not hesitate to contact me.
