Welcome to Old North End Mill, a holiday cottage in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.

The cottage is an 18th Century Mill Building that was fully refurbished in 2016 to bring it up to 21st Century living standards!

The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has a kitchen/dining room, living room, Bedroom 1 with Super King Size Bed, Bedroom 2 with King Size or Twin Beds, and a bathroom. Outside it has a courtyard garden and private parking space.

It is well located with hill views and walking straight from the door, but only a 5-10 minute gentle stroll away from the town centre with many interesting shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. A modest sized Co-op supermarket with petrol station is only a 2 minute walk away. The town has a Heritage Centre & Museum, is home to the National Stone Centre and has one end of the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. You can walk up through Stoney Wood to enjoy the amazing views from the Star Disc, and walk or cycle the High Peak Trail. It is also home to the annual Wirksworth Arts Festival which see lots of events over the course of a week in September and includes an Art Trail around the town in various public buildings and private homes.
