I've just returned from a fabulous week in Hurgahda which is an amazing destination for the extended 2 week October half term my stepdaughter had, the weather was just perfect everyday, we stayed at the Jaz Bluemarine which I knew was going to be impressive after already booking customers and family members here this year, the hotel is huge as it adjoins the sister hotel Aquamarine and can use all the facilities of both hotels, you must certainly do get your daily steps in here with a nice 10 minute stroll to the private beach from our room and that's not even leaving the hotel complex, with Bluemarine you get one free A la carte and can pay for others for a very reasonable supplement and get 3 included with the Aquamarine, we chose the Indian one night and Teppanyaki another, both were fabulous but the Teppanyaki was our favourite and the service faultless, right up there with Caribbean 5 star standards, I found 3 buffet restaurants to which the choice was plentiful, Bluemarine is the quieter side of the two hotels and that's why we chose to stay here, we also chose to relax and the beach pool area, you pretty much get the pool to yourself and never a rush for a sun bed, there are 17 pools in total and plenty of shaded ones for the little ones, 3 water parks and plenty of toddler splash pools and a sandy play area for them which is again shaded.
The daytime entertainment is completely up to you with quiet pool and beach choice or for those who like to join in all the activities you have a Huge pool on Aqua side, Ross and I are by no means one to stay on the complex for the duration of our holidays so we booked 3 excursions, one being a private Quad Safari in the desert to which we drove into the sunset, this was the children's highlight, we then did a full day Eden Island and Snorkelling boat trip and a private Scuba Diving half day which having a dive centre onsite helped with a training session first, the snorkelling was incredible and my life became complete wh
