Welcome to Kinran

Our cottage, Kinran, as we like to call it, has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. It was completely refurbished in 2018 and has a fully fitted modern kitchen equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine and a breakfast bar. The main bathroom is on the ground floor and boasts a heated tiled floor and tropical shower/tub. The living room has dining table seating 4 and a cottage sofa and 2 armchairs, flat screen tv and DVD player.

The master bedroom has a king bed, colour tv, armchair and also has an en suite w/c and shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, armchair and features a walk-in closet. Outside to the front is a garden laid to grass and a wooden deck to enjoy those long summer evenings. We even had a deer living in the yard. The shared courtyard to the rear allows for private parking.

Whatever your interests, the area around Kinloch Rannoch village offers something for everyone to enjoy, with the added bonus of the stunning scenery. There are challenging (and some not so challenging) walks and cycle rides, Munros to climb, fishing on one of the many lochs or rivers, and stalking an abundance of wildlife. You’ll see both flora and fauna almost everywhere you go. Take a picnic up into the surrounding hills, immerse yourself in the beauty of the area, and listen to the silence.

With numerous companies in the vicinity offering a wide choice of outdoor adventure activities, try your hand at something new such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, hill-walking, abseiling, gorge exploring, ski touring, winter mountain skills, 4x4 nature safaris. You will find that there is plenty on offer whatever the season and whatever the weather.
