Great News!!! USA must be one of the last countries that insisted on testing!!! Things are getting back to normal!!!

The US is poised to end its pre-departure test mandate
Travellers to the US currently have to provide evidence of having tested negative for Covid-19 up to 24 hours prior to departure.

The rule currently applies to all travellers, regardless of their vaccination status.

Citing a senior Biden administration official, several major US news outlets on Friday afternoon (10 June) reported the mandate will end at 12.01am on Sunday (12 June).

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will review the need for a testing requirement every 90 days, they added.Grea

It's Saturday.... Another important update!!!

UPDATE: as of Tuesday, a negative PCR is required to enter UK...

Waiting for more details on the lead time!

EDIT:
From 4am, Tuesday 7 December 2021,
all people aged 12 years and over must take a PCR or LFD COVID-19 test before they travel to England from abroad.

You must take the test within the 2 days before you travel to England.

This will apply whether you qualify as fully vaccinated or not.

Some people, including children aged 11 and under are exempt from taking the test.

From Monday 4th October, there will be a complete overhaul of the travel traffic light system with the introduction of a single red list. Fully vaccinated travellers will no longer require a pre-departure test before arrival into England from countries not on the red list, and from later in October the day-2 PCR test will be replaced by a cheaper lateral flow test.

In addition to this, eight countries, including the Maldives and Turkey, will be removed from the red list on Wednesday 22nd September.

Due to changes in validity since Brexit, your passport is now only valid for 10 years from the ISSUE date on your passport.

If you applied for your passport early the extra unused months from your previous passport were added to the passport. These extra months are no longer valid.

Passport expiry date 21st Dec 2022
Your passport expiry date is now the 21st Jun 2022

Most countries in the EU require that your passport is valid for 6 months on the date of return from your holiday , some countries it’s 3 months, meaning the last date you could return on the above example would be the 21st Dec 2021

I have seen lots of stories on the news of people losing thousands of pounds as they did not know about this new rule.
