Konichiwa, Makenzie here 👋

I want to take the time to introduce myself on the old social media and give some background on why I want to share my love for travel through Chasing Coordinates Travel Agency.

I realised pretty early on I didn’t want a normal job so I decided a career in skiing is what would fund my travel addiction. Fast forward 10 years and I now own my own Ski School and Guiding company in Japan with my husband. It’s a dream come true ! But I want to also be able to share the knowledge I gained from travel with anyone who wants to take my advice.

My love of adventure and living out of a suitcase has taken me places I could never have imagined. I lived in the Amazon Rainforest working with an indigenous tribe, built camper vans and travelled New Zealand and South America, I partied under the full moon in Thailand, Jumped off waterfalls in Australia and Jamaica, I got lost in Europe, swam with sharks in Fiji, skied in 4 different continents, and have made some unforgettable memories that shaped my life.

I want to inspire people and use my knowledge of world travel to help others when it comes to their own adventure. Even if it’s not a holiday you’re after I am happy to answer questions about skiing, backpacking, hitch-hiking, building campers, volunteering or any other travel ideas or queries you might have. Even if you’re not sure I will know the answer, just shoot me a message because there is only one way to find out!

Regarding being an independent travel agent, I have exclusive deals that are cheaper than your normal go to booking platforms.
