Hopefully things are looking up for Summer 2022. The government has confirmed that pre-departure Covid tests for inbound
travellers will not be required from 4am on 7th January and the Day 2
testing standard lowered from PCR to Lateral Flow from 4am on Sunday
9th. This will be the same system as we had back in October.

You can travel but will now be required to provide official evidence that you have received both doses of your COVID-19 vaccination, or that you have a negative result from a "Gold Standard" PCR test.
