2 Years ago this evening I lost my wonderful wife, best friend and soulmate “Babs“ … we had 25 wonderful years together which I would do again in a heartbeat .
Im proud to have been married to such a beautiful, kind and caring girl.
she never let me down and always had my back ‘ whatever the situation. She was My rock ‘
We made some awesome friends and memories along the way.

There‘s been a few grumbles about trade attendance at this years and last years VanJam .. So this Is to put the record straight…… we sold over 100 trade pitches 2019 and we were willing to roll over all those trade passes till this year… email reminders were sent out to all of them ….
WE CANNOT MAKE TRADERS TURN UP ‘ ITS THERE CHOICE ! …

The last 3 years have been strange times for everyone and there’s been so many changes to deal with .
But we will be back next year and the organisation for this starts this week ‘
Many of you have attended and supported us at VanJam over the last 15 years and we had very little complaints in those 15 years . many of you also know we meaning myself and the VanJam team have had to deal with the loss of Babs who was not only my wife and best friend but also best friend to all the VanJam team up to the day she passed away and she was a great loss to the very close group of awesome friends that are the VanJam team.

If there are any complaints please aim them at me‘ not the team ‘
I’ve been the one with my head stuck up my arse finding it hard to delegate jobs to those friends old and new that have offered to help with the show organising, but I promise’ I’m not giving up‘ I don’t like letting anyone down‘ and I don’t walk away from anything I’ve started unless it’s a lost hope …. So with my head firmly pulled out of my arse‘ the organising starts today for a fresh Start and VanJam WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR . BIGGER AND BETTER.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY .. IMPORTANT NOTICE AND PLEASE SHARE’
Ive realised that its just too soon after loosing my wife Babs to cancer to put THE VANJAMBOREE on next month … its still this year but not in june … sorry I just wouldnt be able to cope with it ‘ even with all our frfriends around me ‘ it would be very hard for them to ‘’ Babs was a major part of VanJam ’ not only only at the gate greating everyone but also behind the scenes organising and admin… when we decided to do VanJam we knew it would be Babs last one ’ but she wanted to see everyone 1 last time .. you guys and VanJam meant so much to her…
ive been reorganising the dates and everything else that goes with it to make sure you guys still have a good event … the new date are still this year on the 21st 22nd 23rd of October … Babs loved Halloween so we can make it one massive Halloween party In memory of her.. everyone that attended her funeral will understand that .
I would appreciate anyone that has bought a ticket that that they let it roll over to October or next year but all that have purchased tickets this year have the option of a refund just email me ‘ …..

im freezing this post for reasons that are most folk are understanding but there are a few folk that have no idea of the loss of loosing a wife, soulmate, best friend , lover, righthand women and a truly wonderful person so i’m freezing the post before it gets nasty or my loss turns to anger and I dont want that’ …. As for my friends taking up the ranes to help me out ‘ they have all been amazining and been there for both me and Babs all through this nightmare even though its been hard for them to… theyve all asked me what they could do to help ’ but im guilty of not taking up their kind offers thinking i could do it all myself . ( but I will be calling on them to help me from now on ) … I need to make sure The Van Jamboree goes ahead and is as good as its always been which is the most important thing for me ‘ it will never be the same without Babs but we will do our best ………… i was the only person that could’nt see i wasnt coping ……..email me at [email protected] about refunds for tickets bought this year …. I promise The VanJamboree will go ahead in October … no more cancellations .

My Beautiful Wife Babs lost her 2 year battle with Cancer last night at 7.15 . She past away peacefully in my arms at home ❤️ … she fought to the end …
We started The VanJamboree together back in 2008 at Revsby Park , and its always been so important to us that you all enjoyed your weeked at any of our events ’ But VanJam has aways been Babs’s Baby… she wanted so much to make it to this years event .. shes missed you all … as some of you may have worked out ‘ Babs was diagnosed just as the first lockdown started so its been a very difficult time … she wants the VanJam to go ahead still this year so im respecting her wishes no matter how hard its going to be without her … she loved greating everyone on the gate as they came in and was the face of The Van Jam ..

ive loved this women for 24 years and had a wonderful life together and met so many awesome friend in those 24 years.
i know she touched so many hearts with her selflessness ’ always putting others before herself and she was truly loved by many.
i myself was Always proud to have her as my wife .. im broken ’ angry, so so sad, to have lost her this early in life .. she will always be in my heart and forever a part of me ..
I love you baby ’ so so much ###x sleep tight baby
