I hope you’ll indulge me a little. Most of our posts at the moment are about the comedy play we are putting on for charity

I’m super proud of what we’ve achieved - a month out we’ve nearly sold out. One last push to get us over the line. It’s been a lot of hard work on top of running a biz full time & at times taking on a big role in the play as well really did feel like I’d bitten off more than I could chew. If you can help share posts I’d be very grateful. I’m so proud of our cast - it’s been a pleasure to work with everyone. We couldn’t have done it without our dear friend Sarah Isaacs who agreed to direct the production. We‘ve been posting/sharing a few cast bios (more to come). Here‘s our director, Sarah Isaacs, with some of the ladies from Bridgnorth Townswomen’s Guild. When we found out a group were interested in coming to watch our comedy play, we asked them if they would like to team up and provide our interval refreshments. Proceeds from the refreshments go back to this wonderful organisation. So as Mrs Reece, Head of our very own Farndale Avenue Townswomen Guild would say - ”don’t forget to pop some extra pennies in your purse“ for your interval treats. Introducing our cast of characters - Gordan (top left), Mercedes (top right), Thelma, (bottom left), Felicity (the snowman) and Mrs Reece, Head of the Townswomen's Guild (bottom right - oh and she insisted we put her full title in). Watch them play an array of characters as they attempt (unsuccessfully) to stage a production of A Christmas Carol.
Our laugh out loud comedy is being directed by Sarah Isaacs and takes place on October 20th and 21st 2023 at Quatt Village Hall.
Christmas in October - what could be better? Well maybe the fact we're raising money for Alveley Community First Responders - a brilliant local volunteer service for the Alveley and surrounding community.

This had to go on the grid. Memories from the concert in Dublin. Totally blown away by the musicianship, the lights, the overall production and of course being able to see and hear the main man himself in person. This was a present for Julian’s birthday & it was one never to be forgotten. If you love music & you ever get a chance to watch last years tour video or listen to this years live CD I highly recommend it. Hans is a genius & the band he brings together make it pure magic.

Had a brilliant time at the art trail with a visit to the studio of my favourite artist & extraordinary talent Of course I couldn’t leave without some new art. I’ve wanted a sculpture of Victorias forever & I couldn’t resist the cat print to join my collection of original paintings and prints.

The art trail and open studio is open tomorrow from 10-4. There are some fabulous artists involved but if you get chance to see Victorias work you won’t be disappointed.

Victorias artwork is accessible to everyone from gorgeous artwork cards through to statement original paintings and sculptures everyone can own some of Victorias artwork. It’s so important even in challenging times to support artists and makers. So if you have a favourite artist or maker why not give them a shoutout or share today.

A feeling of loss and sadness combined with a feeling that after 70 years our Monarch has fulfilled her pledge to the nation and can now rest in peace with her beloved husband. RIP.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
