Private caravan to rent at Thorness Bay, Isle of Wight
The island is a lovely place to come and visit, after moving away from the island we purchased the caravan so we could keep coming back! There are many places to visit with children, such as the Isle of Wight Zoo, Blackgang Chine, Robin Hill, Tapnell Farm or the many beaches to name a few, and for everyone else there is a Cineworld in Newport if it rains, many walks across countryside and coast, Osbourne House (residence of Queen Victoria) or Carisbrooke Castle. Cowes week (one of the largest yachting regattas in the world) is in August and the Isle of Wight Festival based at Seaclose Park in Newport is only 5 miles away.
The caravan has double glazing and central heating, there is also a portable heater for if it gets extra chilly. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin and there is also a futon in the open plan living area, linen is provided and beds ready for your arrival. There is comfy seating in the lounge and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms and in the kitchen. The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and under counter fridge/freezer, . There is a veranda outside with table and chairs which can be accessed via the patio doors. There is plenty of parking nearby and wifi is available in the entertainment complex and in the caravan.
Thorness Bay is located on the north side of the island and is close to mainland ferry connections, Yarmouth at 9 miles away and East Cowes only 5 miles via the Floating Bridge. The Parkdean site is beautiful and has everything close by - the entertainment complex is only 2 minutes walk from the caravan where there is a restaurant and swimming pool (passes are available to purchase from Park Reception upon arrival) and next to that is a Nisa convenience store, a fish and chip shop and the laundrette. The park reception will have the keys ready for your arrival, a £50 security deposit needs to be paid at the time of booking and will be refunded on successful checkout.
